Actor Hugh Jackman continues his "feud" with Ryan Reynolds with a The Adam Project joke. The Adam Project is Reynolds's latest starring vehicle, set to debut on Netflix on March 11th. The film is directed by Shawn Levy, who also directed Jackman in the sleeper hit Real Steel in 2011. The Adam Project, a sci-fi, time travel yarn, also stars Mark Ruffalo, Zoe Saldana, and Jennifer Garner. The latest trailer for The Adam Project was just released in anticipation of its release next week.

Jackman and Reynolds have enjoyed a back-and-forth faux feud for years now, with each actor taking shots at one another on social media, etc., as a way of showing support for each other's projects and causes. In reality, both are good friends and keep up the "feud" as a means of entertainment and engagement. The actors first met and worked together on the X-Men spinoff X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Jackman reprised his role as Logan/Wolverine, and Reynolds was first introduced as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, in what has become a meme-worthy portrayal throughout the years given the final battle in the film.

In a new Instagram post, Jackman takes another shot at Reynolds, but also ropes in Levy, posting a picture of the three of them at the premiere of The Adam Project and saying that all he wanted was a picture with Jennifer Garner, but instead "got stuck with these two." It's a fun joke, as all three are friends and collaborators, which continues the feud while also helping to promote the latest work from Reynolds and Levy. Check out the original post below:

Jackman had a cameo in Free Guy last year, which was directed by Levy and starred Reynolds, and is currently starring in the Broadway play The Music Man, which runs through April 3rd. The actor will next be seen in the drama The Son by director Florian Zeller and is set to star in a retelling of the story of Paul the Apostle in Matt Cook's Apostle Paul. Reynolds will next be seen in the holiday comedy Spirited alongside Will Ferrell, while Levy preps his next film, Backwards.

Reynolds and Jackman's feud is one of the purest fun things on the internet, as it's a playful back-and-forth between celebrities that keeps fans engaged and provides some good laughs along the way. Knowing that the actors are good friends in real life makes it all the better, and the whole charade has fans wondering when the two will appear in a film together again. With Levy and Reynolds forming a close working partnership, hopefully, an opportunity arises to bring them all together for a project that befits their blend of skills, charm, and rivalry. Be it a sequel to The Adam Project, Free Guy, Real Steel, or something entirely new. Until that happens, the feud continues, and the internet is a better place for it.
