Here's everything we know about Adam Driver's upcoming movies in 2022. Driver has had three movies release in 2021:Annette, The Last Duel, and House of Gucci. Most of the films have received mixed reactions in general, yet most critical reviews have lauded Driver's performances as volatile stand-up comic Henry McHenry in Annette on Amazon Prime, squire Jacques Le Gris in The Last Duel, and Maurizio Gucci in House of Gucci. With awards season approaching, it'll be interesting to see if Driver earns any nominations.

Driver has built an eclectic filmography over the years, earning three Emmy nominations for his work on HBO's Girls, two Oscar nods for BlacKkKlansman and Marriage Story, and a Tony nomination for the Broadway production of Burn This, among others. He has worked with Spielberg and Scorsese and has played everything from an introspective bus driver and budding poet in Paterson to Kylo Ren and Ben Solo in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. There really is no genre that Driver doesn't flourish in, and that's what makes him such a highly sought-after artist, both in indie and more mainstream films.

So far, Driver has two films set to hit theaters in 2022, though other future projects he may be working on have yet to be announced. Driver's new movies include a variety of genres, one of which heralds the House of Gucci star's return to sci-fi and the other with a long-time collaborator. Let's take a look at what to expect from the following releases.

65 - April 29, 2022

Adam Driver

So far, 65's exact plot and Driver's character remain a mystery. What is known is that it's a sci-fi thriller produced by Sam Raimi (the Evil Dead series) and is written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, who penned the screenplay for A Quiet Place. Adam Driver will star alongside Ariana Greenblatt (Love and Monsters, In The Heights). Originally slated to hit theaters on May 13, 65 would have been up against Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which will be in its second week of theater release and likely still smashing the box office. 65 does not currently have any competition from a major studio with an April 29 release date.

White Noise - TBA

White Noise is Driver's fourth collaboration with director Noah Baumbach (Marriage Story, Frances Ha). Filmed in Ohio, White Noise is based on Don DeLillo's satiric novel of the same name and follows a college professor as he grapples with mortality and "The Airborne Toxic Event" that hits his Midwestern town. Driver plays professor Jack Gladney, who becomes increasingly fearful of death throughout the novel and seeks to alleviate his paranoia. Greta Gerwig (Frances Ha) plays Jack's wife, Babette. White Noise will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2022. Overall, there are a few movies Adam Driver fans have to look forward to.
