The recently released Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer gets a fan recreation video done entirely in LEGO, and the result is stunning. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse stars Shameik Moore as Miles Morales/Spider-Man. The sequel to the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will reunite Miles with Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) and Peter B. Parker (Jake Johnson). Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will take Miles on an adventure through the multiverse, hence the title.

LEGO specialized artist LegoMe_TheOG shared on social media their perfect recreation of the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer in LEGO. The Spider-Verse franchise got famous for its fantastic representation of Spider-Man, through different versions of the hero originating in different Spider-Verse universes, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse's creation of an original art style that managed to insert the movie with a comic book feeling. The LEGO fan trailer perfectly captures the magic of the Spider-Verse art style while bringing something new to the table. Check out the full LEGO trailer below:

What To Expect From Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse

Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse but in LEGO Miles Morales

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has the difficult job of following the universally beloved Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which became a major awards darling and fan-favorite movie after its release in 2018. As both the sequel's name and trailer have shown, the Spider-Verse team has chosen to go bigger with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, so that the movie can improve on what came before. The bigger storyline will require an older Miles Morales to make tough decisions during the movie, with one senior animator from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse recently revealing that he doesn't qualify the film as a "kid's movie" due to some mature themes and surprising character choices.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will go bigger by taking Miles through a multiversal adventure where he'll interact with different versions of Spider-Man, instead of having the action come to Miles' universe as it did in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. One of the first stories teased for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse came in the form of the previous movie's post-credits scene, with the introduction of Oscar Isaac's Spider-Man 2099. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will have Spider-Man 2099 and Miles fighting each other, at least at first, as shown by the movie's trailer.

There is currently no explanation for why Spider-Man 2099 goes after Miles in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, but it could be related to the sequel's villain. There have been rumors circulating about the movie suggesting a Spider-Man variant orchestrating an evil plot behind-the-scenes. However, the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer didn't show precisely who that variant might be if the rumor turns out to be accurate, but Spider-Man 2099 could have gone after Miles thinking he was the rogue Spider-Man. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse does have one confirmed villain in the form of the multiversal threat known as The Spot. Jason Schwartzman voices the villain, with The Spot's powers including the ability to open portals to the multiverse, which makes him the perfect addition for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
