Starting today, Assassin's Creed Valhalla and many other Ubisoft games are being discounted as part of its Lunar New Year sale. This sale is running against the Epic Game Store's Spring Sale, which also has Assassin's Creed Valhalla featured in it. For players who have been waiting to buy the game, this is as good a time as ever to think about it.

Financially, Assassin's Creed has been huge for Ubisoft, being responsible for a record-breaking quarter. Players, on the other hand, have not completely shared in Ubisoft's satisfaction with the game. In fact, players have accused Ubisoft of sacrificing Assassin's Creed Valhalla's DLC to implement more microtransactions. There have also been glitches that have frustrated players. Luckily for players who might be scared off by the lukewarm reception, there are plenty of other enjoyable games available in the Lunar New Year sale, which ends Sunday, February 21.

If the microtransaction accusations and glitching issues are of no concern, the Ubisoft Store has the standard edition of Assassin's Creed Valhalla on sale for $49.79 USD, down 17% from its usual price of $59.99. The gold edition can be purchased for $79.99 (20% off), and the ultimate edition can be bought for $95.99 instead of $119.99 (also 20% off). If Assassin's Creed Valhalla is not at the top of players' wish lists, perhaps the deluxe edition of Rainbow Six Siege at $9.99 instead of $29.99 (67% off) is more attractive. The ultimate edition of Rainbow Six Seige is also going for $36, which is 60% off its normal price of $89.99

Other notable sales include The Division 2 ultimate edition, which is selling for $24 instead of $79.99 (70% off), Ghost Recon Breakpoint ultimate edition selling for $30 instead of $119.99 (75% off), and both Immortals Fenyx Rising and Watch Dogs Legion selling for $40.19 each instead of their usual $59.99. All of these deals can be found in the Ubisoft Store and give players a great opportunity to expand their existing game libraries.

Ubisoft's Lunar New Year sale contains some heavy hitters in its lineup, and for some great deals in some cases. Again, this sale is running simultaneously with the Epic Game Store's sale, so players trying to find the best deals should definitely shop around and compare prices. This is also building off the hype of the recent Ubisoft announcement about an upcoming Star Wars open-world game. Times are tougher than usual for a lot of people right now, so if players want to take a flyer on something like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, then the Ubisoft store Lunar New Year sale is one of the better times to do so, before it ends on February 21.
