In the Crossover Stories of Assassin's Creed Valhalla players will travel to the Isle of Skye and come across a light beam puzzle during the mission, "What Dreams May Come." The puzzle can be difficult to solve because there are two activation stones on either side of the door that require light beams to be directed at them. Moving the light pillars to the right place will allow players to progress through the Cave of Gold and find the ancient artifact at the end.

The Isle of Skye can be accessed after players upgrade AC Valhalla's Ravensthorpe to level 4. In order to level up Ravensthorpe, players will need to build various businesses at the settlement and upgrade them using resources found around England. Players will need to complete Raids and River Raids to get the necessary materials to upgrade every part of the Ravensthorpe Settlement.

Once the settlement is a high enough level, players can travel to the Isle of Skye. To find the light beam puzzle, players need to explore the Cave of Gold during the "What Dreams May Come" quest. Reaching the puzzle involves following the linear path through the cave and defeating a few waves of enemies. Kassandra will join Eivor in the cave while their fighting, and after killing every enemy, she will explain that the light puzzle needs to be completed to move forward and collect the artifact.

Directing the Cave of Gold Light Beams in Assassin's Creed Valhalla

AC Valhalla Light Beam Puzzle Solution Apple of Eden

After passing through the Cave of Gold and defeating the various AC Valhalla enemies, players will need to solve the light beam puzzle. To start, players should go from the door to the pillar in the back left corner of the room. Players can pull it into the beam of light, then head to the pillar that the beam is now touching. Next, players need to direct the second pillar so the light beam touches the activation stone next to the door.

To illuminate the second stone, players need to move the stack of wood to the right of the door. Sliding the movable wooden pillar close to the door will allow players to climb up and access the next light beam pillar. Players can move the beam downward toward the last light beam pillar, then jump down and direct the beam to the second activation stone next to the door.

Once the door opens, players can head inside to find mementos from Kassandra's country. Eventually, she will get too emotional seeing pieces of her past, and Eivor will continue ahead on their own. At the end of the Cave of Gold, players will find the ancient artifact, which is the Apple of Eden. Taking the artifact from the pedestal will complete the "What Dreams May Come" quest in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
