A new Ubisoft Connect reward in Assassin's Creed Valhalla will allow players to don the iconic robes of earlier series protagonist Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The latest installment in the long-running Assassin's Creed franchise, Valhalla takes players far away from Ezio's stomping grounds to the icy fields of Norway during the era of Viking expansion. Developer Ubisoft has adopted a live-service approach, with the latest game receiving frequent post-launch updates. The latest content came with Assassin's Creed Valhalla update 1.3.o, which added a number of small quality-of-life improvements to the Viking adventure.

The July update introduced the Sigrblot Festival, a free in-game event which adds new quests, activities, and cosmetics to AC Valhalla. Sigrblot is running from July 29 to August 19, so players still have some time to participate in the revelry. The update also added a one-handed sword, an all-new weapon class for players to wield. Six new skills, along with a slightly redesigned skill tree, are also among the update's quality-of-life additions. This update is intended to pave the way for Assassin's Creed Valhalla's Siege of Paris expansion, which will release on August 12. This expansion will be set across the Frankish countryside and will bring new gameplay elements, including abilities, weapons, and freestyle Infiltration Missions.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla players will now be able to wear Ezio Auditore's iconic robes, which can be unlocked via Ubisoft Connect. Ezio Auditore was the protagonist of three Assassin's Creed titles, starting with 2009's Assassin's Creed 2. His iconic white-and-red robes, which reflect the character's background as a nobleman during the Italian Renaissance, have appeared in many installments of the series. The robes Eivor will borrow from Ezio's wardrobe appear to particularly come from 2010's Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, which took the hero on a journey through Rome. Assassin's Creed Valhalla players can acquire the robes for free, provided they have played at least two games in the series using the same Ubisoft account.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla will receive its second major expansion very soon, and that will not be the end for the brutal Norse-inspired action game. 2022 will bring more Assassin's Creed content to the latest installment, although this upcoming content remains a mystery. Rumors have circulated about what a second year of Assassin's Creed Valhalla DLC, but Ubisoft has not yet confirmed any specific details.

Ezio Auditore last starred in 2011's Assassin's Creed Revelations, but the Italian hero still remains one of the series' most iconic protagonists. His charm, wit, and sympathetic backstory make him one of the more relatable Assassins that Ubisoft has crafted. With Ezio's robes available for free to series fans, perhaps it won't be long until Assassin's Creed Valhalla gets more Italian Renaissance fashion.
