A reputable source in the Assassin's Creed community stumbled upon game files that suggest future AC Valhalla DLC may feature AC Odyssey's Kassandra. Ahead of Valhalla's late 2020 rollout, Ubisoft confirmed two paid story expansions for the title - Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris. The former went live in May, while the latter will become available on August 12.

But the Frankia-set content won't serve as the last hurrah for Assassin's Creed's Viking adventure. For one, Ubisoft announced at E3 2021 that the educational mode Discovery Tour: Viking Age should arrive sometime this fall. The publisher additionally teased plans for a second year of post-launch content, something the long-running action series hasn't previously explored. What the next year of support may entail remains a mystery for the time being. However, newly leaked details indicate Kassandra of Assassin's Creed Odyssey fame could reappear in some form or fashion.

Assassin's Creed leaker j0nathan posted a YouTube video a few days ago wherein he detailed leaked game files supposedly connected to future AC Valhalla DLC. The files feature dialogue that lead some to believe Kassandra may meet Eivor. Interestingly, the text revolves around an exchange between Eivor and a Seer named Edyt who hails from Skye Island. Valka, the Ravensthorpe Seer, has been in contact with Edyt, offering advice because the people of Skye Island find themselves beset by "strange nightmares" that cause sleep deprivation and mania. Though Valka notes that Ravensthorpe settlers are experiencing similar terrors, Eivor's assistance is most need on the island.

The twist, however, lies in that Randvi may be involved or even responsible for the bizarre happenings. Upon Eivor's expression of doubt, Valka recounts a vision she had featuring "Randvi amidst a scene of death on Skye Island." Should the Valhalla hero travel there, she'll have no choice but to fight Randvi and part ways with her in perpetuity. GameRant notes the Kassandra connection enters the mix via a theory that Eivor will find the Odyssey character on Skye Island instead of Randvi. And this thought comes from the belief that Randvi and Kassandra share a likeness. (Supposedly, it's the hair that has some fans convinced.)

Though Odyssey takes place in 5th Century BC, with Valhalla's adventures carrying players across 9th Century AD, Kassandra lives a long life in-universe. At the end of AC Odyssey, Kassandra appears in the 2018 story arc still wielding the Staff of Hermes, which bestows immortality upon its keeper. The weapon allowed her to live for two millennia; thus, her potentially traversing the Viking Age isn't beyond the realm of possibility.

As always, fans should take the allegedly leaked information with a pinch of salt. If this does come to pass, though, it wouldn't be the first time Assassin's Creed developers have connected the wider universe through post-launch content. Famously, the notorious Legacy of the First Blade expansion revealed that AC Origins' Aya, co-founder of the Hidden Ones, is a descendant of Kassandra.
