ABC has announced the first three Bachelor seasons that will be featured on its upcoming show, The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons - Ever! The new show comes after the spinoff The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart, which recently concluded in May. The 2020 season of The Bachelorette has been delayed due to COVID-19.

After 24 seasons of The Bachelor and 15 seasons of The Bachelorette, Chris Harrison will be giving us a highlight reel this summer, starting June 8. The most recent season of The Bachelor featured pilot Peter Weber, who ended up single. This summer’s season of The Bachelorette has had to halt filming because of the pandemic, but will star Clare Crawley as the oldest Bachelorette, at age 38. Crawley was also on Bachelor Winter Games and seasons 1 and 2 of Bachelor in Paradise

In a press release, ABC confirmed that the first three episodes of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons - Ever! would focus on Sean Lowe and Ben Higgins’ seasons of The Bachelor, and Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette. The series will open with a three-hour episode about Sean Lowe’s journey, season 17 from 2013. The second episode will air on June 15, about Kaitlyn Bristowe from season 11 of The Bachelorette, which took place in 2015. The third episode that was announced will feature Ben Higgins’ season on June 22, which was season 20 of The Bachelor in 2016.

The Bachelor Ben Higgins

The first episode has been teased with plenty of drama. The press release detailed that the episode will highlight contestants Lesley Murphy, AshLee Frazier, runner up Lindsay Yenter, future bachelorette Desiree Hartsock, and of course, winner Catherine Giudici (now Lowe). Lowe’s season features one of the most romantic proposals and successful stories, as he and Catherine have now been together for seven years and are the parents of three children. Murphy was featured on 2018’s Bachelor Winter Games, where she struck up a brief romance with Dean Unglert. Hartsock has quite The Bachelor success story of her own, after choosing Chris Siegfried as the winner of her Bachelorette season in 2013. The couple is married and have two sons.

The two additional episodes will be packed with dramatic moments as well. Bristowe made waves when she had sex with contestant and future Bachelor Nick Viall before the Fantasy Suite episode, but then picked Shawn Booth as her winner. Higgins is famous in Bachelor history for making the mistake of telling two women he loved them; his winner Lauren Bushnell, and future Bachelorette Joelle Fletcher. Looks like we’ll have to stay tuned for more of the most dramatic seasons ever - take it away Chris Harrison!
