The character's selected Soul Link tells other players what role that class will play in a group setting. The options are ATK (attack), SUPP (support), and DEF (defense). For the mage, players should stick to the support role. For this, the player should focus mostly on buffing and healing their team. However, the mage can also be played in an attack role if specialized.

Despite giving most of the focus on support and watching the mage's many cooldowns, players should focus on their damage-dealing for passives. The three most important are as follows.

  • Magical Attack Damage Increase
  • Magical Critical Damage Increase
  • Hit Point Increase
