Although she wants Kobe to step up and prove he can be an responsible father, she is also reluctant to allow him the opportunity to do so. Upon his arrival, he was scolded for playing with Koban’s feet while she was nursing. Emily also kicked him out of their bed for distracting their son as he was attempting to sleep. Her parents are already reluctant about providing for them and would prefer that Kobe get a job as soon as possible. With the potential of another child in the mix, their financial struggles are bound to increase.
