90 Day Fiancé's Zied Hakimi admitted to being jealous and controlling after finding a photo of Rebecca Parrott’s "ex." The two were getting along on her visit to Tunisia, but have recently hit a rough patch.
Parrott and Hakimi stared in the TLC hit series 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, but originally met through social media. Parrott had already been through the K1 Visa process with her Moroccan husband but chose to separate from him due to his controlling side. Parrott flew to Tunisia to meet Hakimi to make sure that he was not going to be another mistake.
In the most recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Parrott and Hakimi went on a romantic trip to the desert to stay at a Bedouin camp. The Tunisian native had brought an engagement ring in hopes of being able to surprise his American girlfriend, and fans cringed when he had to ask Parrott for the money so he could afford it. But before he could get down on his knee, Hakimi came across a photo on Parrott’s phone that was of her ex-husband. He became irate and showed his true colors, quickly admitting that he was a jealous and controlling man.
This was a wake-up call to Parrott, as she was still holding a deep secret to herself that her future fiancé is not aware of. The picture that Hakimi found was actually of her husband; she was not officially divorced before she made her trip halfway around the world to meet him. When speaking to Hakimi to try and calm him down, he placed his hand around her neck as the conversation took an uncomfortable turn. Parrott tried wriggling out of the low-key chokehold, but he turned her face so that he could look directly into her eyes. The couple had already had an issue with trust and control when they decided to go out on the town to a local bar, and Parrott wore a low cut, blacktop that was not approved by Hakimi. While trying to enjoy themselves, Hakimi became aggressive with another bar occupant and accused him of looking at Parrott’s tattoos. He was angry with Parrott for having attracted unwanted attention from other men.
As the season starts to wind down, fans are left to wonder if Hakimi will ever get the chance to propose. Some fans are sharing their concern for Parrott if she does choose to say yes because it does not seem that Hakimi would be any less controlling than her husband. That said, maybe there's still time for a happily ever after.
