Former 90 Day Fiancé star Rebecca Parrott recently opened up about how Zied Hakimi helped her heal from past trauma she suffered as a single mother. Zied and Rebecca first graced the small screen when they appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3 in 2019. When the couple first planned to meet in Tunisia, Rebecca was concerned that Zied might not like her because she catfished him with heavily edited pictures. However, many 90 Day Fiancé viewers were shocked to see that Zied loved Rebecca even though she looked drastically different from her photos.

Zied kissed her plenty of times, and it seemed like he wasn't disappointed to see that Rebecca tried to lure him to her Facetuned pictures. While talking to the cameras during a confessional, Zied confessed that Rebecca didn't look like her pictures. But he affirmed she looked just perfect and "so much beautiful." After overcoming communication challenges and cultural differences, Zied and Rebecca finally got married on April 19, 2020. Despite having a 22-year age gap, the couple genuinely seems to be in love. While a few fans think Zied married Rebecca for a Green Card, many 90 Day Fiancé viewers believe he honestly cares for his wife.

Zied is still with Rebecca and has recently helped her heal from her past trauma. Rebecca wrote on Instagram, "While watching Maid on @netflix I realized I have a lot of trauma and basically fell apart." She revealed that she related to the main character of the series because she had also been a single mother who was stressed, tired and working two jobs. She added, "I could only watch less than 2 episodes before I lost it. But @tlc_90day_zied did something incredible." After seeing Rebecca upset, 90 Day Fiancé star Zied wrapped his arms around her and asked what was bothering her. She told Zied the character on the show got the help she needed, but nobody ever told her, "You're safe now, you breathe baby girl." Zied wrapped his arms around Rebecca and told her the same words.

Rebecca said, "He grabbed ahold of me so tight and in my ear, he said 'you're safe now baby girl you can breathe.'" Through this emotional Instagram post, she also urged fans to seek help if they were in an abusive relationship. She added, "Get therapy. And I promise you'll find your Zied." Many 90 Day Fiancé fans felt sorry for Rebecca and appreciated Zied for listening to her. A fan commented, "You are so lucky, It's really hard to find a great guy like Zied." Another fan chimed in, "I'm so glad he was able to give you that healing moment." Tania Maduro, who has also suffered domestic violence, reacted, "Thank you for sharing! And aaawww to zied."

90 Day Fiancé star Rebecca experienced so much healing at that moment that she had to share it with her fans. When Zied first came to the United States, Rebecca's family members accused him of marrying her for a Green Card. However, his actions have now proved that he genuinely wants to be with Rebecca and cares for her. Hopefully, Rebecca's message will help and inspire those 90 Day Fiancé fans who are going through a similar situation.
