Yvette Arellano, better known as Yve, asked 90 Day Fiancé fans to send powerful prayers to her son Tharan after finding out bad news about his health. Yve from Albuquerque became the most recent middle-aged American woman on the TLC show who wants to get married to a man younger than her. 48-year-old Yve and her partner Mohamed Abdelhamed, 25, met after he slid into her DMs to praise her fit figure. They were quick to fall in love and even quicker to get engaged when Yve visited Mohamed in Egypt. He soon made his way to the U.S. on a K-1 visa but fans have grown tired of counting the red flags Mohamed has been showing.

Mohamed surprised 90 Day Fiancé viewers when he was upfront about his demand for someone to look after him like his mother would. The Egyptian man expected Yve to cook his meals and cater to his every whim, while knowing she has a full-time job as a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist. Apart from being busy with her work, Yve is also a single mom and caregiver to her son Tharan from a previous relationship. Tharan is 12 years old and has autism, Down syndrome, and stage 2 kidney disease, and he has to be catheterized every three hours. But despite the stress, 90 Day Fiancé season 9 star Yve tries to be positive all the time. Yve and Tharan’s father were together for close to eight years, but she felt like she wasn’t getting enough emotional support while looking after a special needs child.

Eight years ago Yve, who was engaged to Tharan’s father, decided to not get married. Right now, fans are watching Yve planning her wedding with Mohamed even though they feel he’s not the kind of man that she needs. Amidst the relationship troubles with Mohamed, Yve has now revealed that she got some bad news about Tharan’s health. While Yve hopes that Tharan won’t need a kidney transplant in the future, 90 Day Fiancé celeb Yve recently got his lab reports, which showed that his Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is the lowest it’s ever been. GFR is a test used to check how well the kidneys are working and Tharan’s has dropped from 70 to 66.14. “He is in the middle of puberty which is a huge strain on the #kidneys,” she confessed.

Yve shared how she’s been adding in “some higher doses of Irish moss” and has gone back to “reflexology every night with essential oils” and whole food-based pharmaceutical grade supplements, along with using reiki, sound healing, and stem cell patches to treat her child. Yve has put Tharan on an organic diet since he was 15 months old and even though he was exposed to COVID-19 10 times at school and when both Yve and Mohamed had it, the brave soldier never got it. Yve says it’s because Tharan has a “stellar immune system.” Yve is still trying to process the results and is awaiting a radiology report. “But, I can’t say I’m not scared, & worried,” she added. “Please keep him in your prayers,” wrote Yve who hopes that Tharan gets “some better labs in almost 6 months.

Yve does mention that Tharan is growing well. When he was much younger, the mom didn’t even know how much time she would have with him. Yve will never give up on her child, as he means the world to her. She is scared and worried, and TLC fans and co-stars of Yve and Mohamed are praying for the little boy. Tharan is a ray of sunshine whenever he is on 90 Day Fiancé, and he lights up the screen with his positivity every single time. And with a strong mom like Yve, fans hope that Tharan will get better soon while he bravely continues to fight his battle.
