The former 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star and Brittany Banks' ex-fiancé, Yazan, is receiving a lot of backlash on his recent Instagram picture. Earlier, many fans were crushing over his sexy bearded look, but now they are slamming him to pose with a cigarette in his hand.
Many TLC viewers would know that Brittany and Yazan have finally called it quits. They have quite the opposite personalities and cultural upbringing, which eventually became the biggest reason for their break up. The Jordan native Yazan belongs to a conservative Muslim family, and he wanted his foreign-citizen fiancée to conform to Islamic values and tradition. Even his mother and father pressed the Florida native Brittany to stop posting steamy pictures on social media if she wanted to marry their son and be their daughter-in-law. Being a bold, broad-minded American, Brittany didn't conform to their rules and challenged Yazan's religion and traditions several times. She didn't dress conservatively, lashed out at a Muslim man in the middle of a Jordanian market, and got tipsy at a shady bar. Many 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers criticized her for disrespecting her fiancé's religion. Some even called her a "pseudo feminist." But now Yazan is also getting a lot of flak from most of his supporters.
Earlier, many 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans were crushing over his hot looks. He frequently used to receive messages like, "You get more handsome with every photo," "Post more pics! I want to see," and "beyond hot!!!!!!!!!." on his every picture on Instagram. But his latest photo has turned his fans into haters. He posted a (now deleted) picture of himself while sitting on a wooden stool and wearing black jeans, a black t-shirt, and a dark cyan jacket. Many think that the 24-year-old Yazan's health is deteriorating, and he looks old and weak in his latest picture. They commented things like, "Yazan you need to cleanup buddy," and "He needs to lay off drugs." Others were furious fans didn't like him smoking a cigarette and wrote, "All I see is a burnt," "He's smoking. And smoking is gross," and "It's against the religion to smoke."
Well, according to Islamic legal pronouncement (via Tobacco Fatwa), tobacco is prohibited in the Muslim religion. Still, the holy book of Islam, the Quran (via Wiki), does not specifically forbid smoking. But the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way alum Yazan can definitely try to get rid of this harmful habit. And even if the cigarette was a prop for a photo shoot, it doesn't send a good message to his fans.
