90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Yara Zaya looks very different in an old photo with her alleged ex-boyfriend before she had plastic surgery. She has been having a rough time both on- and off-screen due to her behavior around mother-in-law Gwen and upselling her fashion line. Yara is being heavily criticized for her rudeness toward Jovi’s mom and family, and has decided to go on a social media break. While Yara is away, it’s her unseen throwback photo from a beach vacation with her alleged ex is that’s shocking fans.
While Yara started off being a fan-favorite on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, things haven’t been going well for Mylah’s mom on social media. First, fans discovered that Yara’s fashion store had clothes she allegedly bought for cheap on Alibaba, and later, Yara faced flack for her “tone-deaf” post about Cuba. In episode 12 of HEA, Yara showed her mean side by kicking Gwen, Chris, and Claire out of her and Jovi’s new house on Ukrainian Christmas. This resulted in Yara getting disturbing messages from a 90 Day Fiancé fan.
With Yara’s popularity seeing a decline among 90 Day Fiancé fans, a blogger seems to have come across a photo from when Jovi’s wife was in her early 20s and doing reality TV shows in Ukraine. The photo, shared by popular blogger 90daytrollin, appears to show Yara with dark brown hair wearing a blue bikini. She is standing next to a man named Raphael from a show called Love Online. Raphael was a Russian man who was staying in Barcelona. The show followed Yara going overseas to meet him and his family. He supposedly broke up with her within three days, as per this video by TET.
In the comments of the Instagram post, 90 Day Fiancé fans said the man looked “so uninterested” standing next to Yara, and “This guy looks so miserable, lol!!” Another TLC viewer couldn’t believe this was Yara and wrote, “I swear she had a face transplant!” A different fan was sure that Yara looked “1000% different” before adding, “If this is her she's had a ton of work done.”
Interestingly, it was during this same show from 2014 that Yara, who then used to go by her full name Yaroslava, revealed that she gotten a nose job, fake eyelashes, and extensions. At 20, Yara did look like a different person, but some fans think her makeover was done tastefully. It is unknown when Yara will end her social media break. However, given how popular she is on Instagram with over 362k fans, the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star may not be gone for long.
