Yara Zaya from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise is known for her frank and honest ways, and we're ready to talk about why she makes so many harsh remarks about New Orleans. The reality star has won fans by speaking her mind. However, some of her comments about NOLA definitely rub franchise viewers (and New Orleans residents) the wrong way. Clearly, Yara isn't happy living in New Orleans and this may never change. She's got issues with the city which a lot of people just can't understand. Her issues with NOLA may negatively impact her relationship with her husband Jovi Dufren. Yara and Jovi have an adorable baby girl named Mylah. Mylah even has her own Instagram account, which features the cutest photos.

Yara and Jovi have become an unlikely 90 Day Fiancé franchise success story. They've clashed onscreen, over Jovi's drinking, his penchant for exotic dancers, and his general immaturity. Yara also gets upset when Jovi needs to travel for work. He is an underwater robotics specialist who earns a good living, but his job takes him away from New Orleans regularly, for long periods of time. When Jovi is away, Yara must live in the city alone, although she does have the support of Jovi's mother Gwen Eymard. While a lot of people would love to spend time in New Orleans, thanks to the city's delicious Cajun food, hot jazz, and awesome tourist attractions (including the French Quarter and St. Louis Cathedral), Yara isn't so fond of NOLA's Mardi Gras spirit.

In the past, Yara complained that the famous Louisiana city's legendary and vibrant Bourbon Street smelled  “like pee and throwing up.” This iconic diss was pure Yara and it was captured by TLC cameras. She seemed to find New Orleans dirty and uninspiring in general. Her attitude towards the city hasn't changed, as five days ago, she shared a post to her @yarazaya Instagram that raised eyebrows. Yara, who recently complained about her botched lip fillers, said that NOLA is "just not my city." See Yara's IG post below:

Yara's issues with the city may have something to do with what she's enduring while she's there. She's embarked on new motherhood, which is a journey filled with joy and stress. Caring for a baby in a new city isn't easy, especially if a partner is away at work. Some 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? season 6 fans have noticed that Yara seems to be feeling down lately. This is likely prompting Jovi and Yara to consider a move.

At this point, the popular reality couple is still deciding where to settle down. Yara may be associating a great city with some bad memories, too. For example, Jovi's partying happened in the city. Once, he left an injured Yara alone while he went out to enjoy himself. She may feel that leaving the city will give them a fresh start as a new family. She may want to create great memories somewhere that is brand-new to her, her husband, and her child.

Life is short, so Jovi and Yara should do what's best for their family, even if that means leaving NOLA. However, Jovi may find that he misses the city that he knows and loves. He's used to having fun in New Orleans, from family crawfish boils to strip club forays and beyond. Now that he's considering a move, he'll also be thinking about what he has to give up. This may put new pressure on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise pair.
