90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? cast member Yara Zaya is well-loved by her fans, but in real life, Jovi Dufren’s wife is having a hard time making friends for one interesting reason. Since Yara stepped off her plane to come to New Orleans in 90 Day Fiancé season 8, TLC viewers have watched her complain a lot. However, they did realize that Yara has indeed sacrificed plenty to get married to Jovi who paid little attention to her. With Jovi gone away for months on the ROV supervisor job, Yara gets lonely all by herself and baby Mylah. Jovi has commented that Yara is not fun, even though he’s aware of why Yara doesn’t even have friends to begin with.
It was Jovi’s outgoing personality that irked Yara whenever he was out drinking or going to strip clubs with his friends. As per Jovi, things changed with Yara after they got married since she was quite different as a girlfriend, but he also failed to realize that she has successfully taken up the role of a mother and wife. At 25, Yara had become pregnant unexpectedly and gotten married even before the end of the 90 days on the K-1 visa due to Jovi having to go back to work. As Yara got comfortable with the American way of life, she now had a different worry to deal with.
In a recent Instagram update from Yara, reposted by 90dayfiancéfanatics2, Yara told her 90 Day Fiancé fans a "big explanation" about why she has been “living in the USA for almost 2 years” and still has no friends. As per Yara, it's her newfound celebritydom that's stopping her from developing friendships in America. The only friends Yara has are her followers online. But Yara confessed she needs some pals "IRL" as well. A recent incident where a neighbor was having a big party with food, alcohol, and a lot of fun may have made Yara realize this. The stylish TLC celeb Yara spoke to Jovi about it, who told her, “go there, go there. Have a drink, have a food. Enjoy.”
Jovi wanted his wife to make new acquaintances. “I’m like, ‘okay, I will go there,’” Yara, who recently got her driver's license remembered thinking, but she admitted that she is “like an animal that lived in the forest." Upon reaching the venue, Yara started freaking out and was petrified to see so many people. However, the neighbors, in turn, asked her if her name was Yara and if she was from 90 Day Fiancé. Some persons also started to take out their phones to perhaps photograph her “immediately” when they saw Yara, but she claims she’s “not used to it yet.” Yara admitted to feeling like she was starting to have a panic attack as she took Mylah with her and exited frantically.

Still, fans have discussed that Yara needs to shed her snobbish personality, which was evident through the video, to win over friends. Yara was advised to stop being so stuck up and start talking to regular people. A few asked Yara to stop seeking attention, and others suggested that she’ll meet new mommies like her when Mylah starts going to playschool.
