With Jovi Dufren having left for work one week after their 90 Day Fiancé wedding, pregnant Yara Zaya was left by herself to prepare for their baby’s arrival. Through several highs and lows, threats of going back to Ukraine, and requests for attention and no alcohol, Yara and Jovi did end up getting married on the hit TLC series. However, while spoilers of their Valentine’s Day wedding were already making the rounds, the fans were eager to see Yara’s baby and also her pregnancy photo shoot, which had never been revealed before. The Ukrainian 90 Day Fiancé star is now finally revealing why she didn’t share her “pregnant photoshoot” on Instagram.
With lonesome Jovi meeting his future 90 Day Fiancé wife Yara on a travel app out of boredom, fans didn’t see much hope for the couple. Many dismissed Yara as yet another cliché gold-digger like Anfisa Nava, but she did prove herself by being confident when it came to defending her intentions and her native country. The fact that she already had a miscarriage in the past also added to Yara’s problems considerably. First, it was Jovi thinking that she may have faked it for a ticket to America. Later, there was further mistrust surrounding Yara's subsequent pregnancy after her arrival in New Orleans. The ROV supervisor showed several signs of not being ready by a baby, while his 90 Day Fiancé love Yara threatened to go back to Ukraine with their baby.
Still, some of the most adorable moments on 90 Day Fiancé season 8 were when Jovi and Yara finally welcomed their baby daughter on screen. New daddy Jovi impressed TLC viewers with his fatherly instincts as he took care of his baby girl. However, even as the fans finally met the newest baby of 90 Day Fiancé, some were still not over the fact that they never got to see Yara pregnant in photographs. Aside from the fact that Yara and Jovi obviously had their TLC contracts stopping them, the young mother revealed why she never really did the obligatory IG photo session.
“I really wanted to do a pregnant photoshoot,” confessed 90 Day Fiancé newcomer Yara Zaya as she spoke about COVID-19 not allowing her to do it. “Because of the covid, nothing worked.” Thankfully, however, online shopping came to her rescue. Yara ordered a background, lights, and a tripod with remote control, and ended up doing a photoshoot herself. Knowing the 90 Day Fiancé star Yara’s creative streak, the results were clearly breathtaking. While one picture shows Yara and Jovi embracing each other for the camera, another has the former make-up professional dressed like an angel.
“Pregnancy suits you,” commented Yara’s 90 Day Fiancé co-star Julia Trubkina on her IG post. In turn, some fans were not feeling Jovi’s enthusiasm in the couple photo: “Why Jovi looked so fierce? Like ‘this is my baby nobody can touch her?’” While Yara revealed that Jovi “was tired,” when the photos were taken, several 90 Day Fiancé fans are also getting tired of not getting to see actual baby pics.
