Yara Zaya of 90 Day Fiancé has revealed the real reason why she fell in love with Jovi Dufren, who can sometimes be perceived as annoying. Fans may remember that Yara and Jovi first met through a travel app. The couple started chatting and finally decided to meet in Budapest. Even though Yara lied about a few things to impress Jovi, the couple felt a deep connection with each other and fell in love. They eventually got engaged and Jovi applied for Yara's K-1 visa. When the 27-year-old reality star debuted on 90 Day Fiancé season 8, many viewers disliked her because she kept complaining about almost everything in the US.
Over time, Yara was able to change the fans' perception of her after her daughter, Mylah's birth. Yara, who was accused of being shallow and materialistic, won many hearts after unveiling her maternal side. While Yara became one of the most loved and followed cast members of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, Jovi was labeled immature and irresponsible. Some fans also told Yara that she could do much better than Jovi, who isn't ready to grow up and change his party-boy lifestyle.
A curious 90 Day Fiancé fan asked Yara during a Q&A session on Instagram, "Jovi is annoying but what keeps you drawn to him? Besides Mylah." The Ukrainian native didn't take offense, but she did explain why she really fell for Jovi. Yara said that her husband reminds her of her mom, Olga. She added, "I don't know if you guys know this, but we usually choose partners who remind us about somebody or some family member." She noted how Jovi acts just like her mother. While talking to Jovi, up-and-coming YouTuber Yara feels like she is speaking to her mother.
In fact, Jovi and Yara's mother react in the same way to many things. She wrote, "Jovi is totally 100% my mom. I think I found something of my own in him." Nonetheless, Yara joked that her mother doesn't like "str*ppers and alcohol" as Jovi does. Yara's parents separated when she was very young, and since then, she has been close to her mother. The 90 Day Fiancé star doesn't talk about her mother much on social media or during the show. Generally, she has made a conscious decision to keep her away from the limelight.
Earlier, Yara revealed that her mother has a heart problem, which is why she doesn't want to subject her to any kind of negative reaction from trolls. She is quite protective of her mother and doesn't want to potentially have a heart attack or any other type of medical emergency. Usually, fans only watch the lowest moments of a couple's relationship on the show, which makes them look incompatible. However, Yara's replies suggest that her bond with Jovi is really strong. 90 Day Fiancé fans wish Yara and Jovi's beautiful marriage to be full of everlasting joy.
