90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6 cast member Yara Zaya has mocked fans for calling her a gold digger while letting Instagram know of her learning disability. Ukrainian fashionista Yara made waves when she debuted on 90 Day Fiancé season 8 alongside New Orleans-based Jovi Dufren. The couple went through plenty of ups and downs but got married and even had a baby named Mylah Angelina in the finale. However, despite Yara having appeared on two TLC series, some fans still doubt her intentions. For making comments about Jovi’s job, Yara was labeled an opportunist in her Instagram comments by some 90 Day Fiancé viewers.

Since stepping foot in America, Yara comparing Jovi’s country to her own was seen as problematic. The couple met while Jovi was on vacation, and Yara was someone who shared his interest in travel. But 90 Day Fiancé's Yara seemed to not adjust to Jovi’s lifestyle, as she called his Nola apartment a “swamp” and demanded a “$27 million” penthouse. When asked what she loves about Jovi during her first confessional, the 90 Day Fiancé celeb shockingly became tongue-tied. Yara not being a fan of Jovi’s behavior, and constantly complaining about his taste, led many to conclude she was in it for his money. As Yara is shown upset over Jovi leaving for two months for work during 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, it has come to a point that now fans called her out, saying it’s his paycheck that supports her costly wardrobe.

While Jovi also wasn’t the ideal husband type for many thanks to his drinking and ignorance, becoming a dad has made the tables turn. More fans are now calling themselves #TeamJovi as the 90 Day Fiancé personality plays the doting dad. 90 Day Fiancé's Yara being unreasonable about his job and hinting that he should find a regular one instead made certain fans reach out to her on Instagram. To amplify her thoughts to all of her 318,000 followers, Yara wrote in a post, “I will never understand why in 2021 people still think that if a girl is beautiful, then she is definitely a gold digger.” The newbie 90 Day Fiancé star continued, “There’s so many beautiful girls in this world who make much more money than some man’s.

Yara reasoned that a woman in a family should also make money, although she does think it is a personal choice. “And I am proud that I can also pay bills and buy food home,” revealed Yara, before apologizing for her grammar. “Sorry for my grammar I’m dyslexic,” confessed 90 Day Fiancé celeb Yara, who explained that she finds it easier to speak than to write. Yara recently revealed that she learned English via the TV show Friends and how she’d ended up meeting Jovi.

In a previous post, 90 Day Fiancé's Yara was dragged by a fan for always complaining, as they wrote, “Many people would wish for their husband to have a great job! So a wife could stay at home and you are here crying!!!” A frustrated Yara replied that she was tired of such comments and explained how she’s “not sitting at home” and that she works, was always working, pays for her bills and buys food for home. Followers applauded Yara’s honesty and dedication. But amidst the nice comments, Yara does end up getting plenty of rude ones, which hopefully changes as she navigates through future episodes.
