90 Day Fiancé star Yara Zaya has admitted to getting plastic surgery, but her latest before and after pictures have shocked fans into calling her a “shapeshifter.” The Ukrainian wife of Jovi Dufren found herself in hot water over her signature “Eye Dare You” jacket from her Yara Zaya shop, since it's available for much cheaper elsewhere. The fashionista, who’s enjoying life as a new mom to baby Mylah, has lashed out at bloggers for trying to ruin her business. But while Yara’s supporters continue to defend her for just being a smart businesswoman, some continue to be shocked after coming across throwback photos of her from before she became a 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? icon.
Ever since Yara stepped into the world of 90 Day Fiancé season 8, she’s either been admired or simply disliked by divided TLC fans. Some adore Yara for the feisty and witty star that she is, while others think she married Jovi just to get a Green Card and for his money. However, Yara’s Instagram is what usually makes many change their minds about her when they see how well-mannered the usually rude Yara really is. Stylish and always ready to help her fans out when they need exercise or fashion tips, Yara impressed 90 Day Fiancé fans when she launched her own store to sell the clothes she wears on TV.
However, even if the controversy about Yara upselling her clothes in the shop dies down, perhaps the fact that the 90 Day Fiancé star looks like a different person after plastic surgery never will. During season 8, Yara kept denying she’d ever had a nose job, but it was during the season 8 Tell-All that she defended plastic surgery and also revealed she’d had a nose job to do away with her “potato”-like nose. Very recently, Yaza had been honest about her excess lip fillers migrating to her upper lip. But Declan Blaine on Twitter found photos of a 20-something Yara before the plastic surgery and mocked the 90 Day Fiancé star for being a “shapeshifter” while jokingly asking, “Who dis?” Various Twitter users replied, expressing their own opinions on the photos as well.
The 90 Day Fiancé viewer shared a bunch of photos of Yara looking unrecognizable in each one of them, and wrote, “Introducing Yaroslava Zalohina in 2013. She's a shapeshifter.” In a few photos, Yara is blonde. In others, she's a brunette. And her facial features look alarmingly different in every picture. One TLC watcher @sweetthangxoxo replied to the Tweet with, “If she keeps on, she gonna start looking Darcy-ish and Stacy-ish," and user @hotmessexpressx thinks “she kind of looks like Leah from Teen Mom in that last pic.” Meanwhile, another fan @Getsetgo16 mentioned that Yara looks great in all the pictures, and that “if there's something you don't like about yourself then change it.”
In an appearance on a 2014 dating show in Ukraine, Yara revealed that she’d had a nose job, fake eyelashes and extensions, and gets lip fillers every three months. The show also introduced the 90 Day Fiancé star's mother, Olga, then a baker, who hasn't appeared yet on TLC. The independent Yara has admitted that she worked as a waitress, seamstress and administrator, and was studying to become a psychologist. But it looks like with the interesting life that 90 Day Fiancé's Yara has lived so far, this boss lady was meant to be on reality TV.
