Yara Zaya and Julia Trubkina of 90 Day Fiancé have emerged as franchise fan-favorites and close friends, though the two beauties just found themselves at odds during the season 8 Tell-All, specifically over plastic surgery. Ukrainian Yara and Russian Julia appear to have a lot in common, as fans are fond of both women's blunt and honest personalities. This has led to some viewers hoping the two women would meet, become best friends, and leave their American partners in the dust in pursuit of more worthy men. Though they are both now married to their American partners, Julia and Yara have shown themselves to be fast friends on social media. However, the Tell-All saw the two women arguing over the topic of plastic surgery.

Season 8 of the hit TLC show featured many villains. While fans came for both Yara's husband Jovi Dufren and Julia's husband Brandon Gibbs, many have rallied behind the two women. The two couples recently shared photos of them all hanging out together to the delight of fans. Meanwhile, Julia and Yara have fulfilled viewers' wishes by frequently interacting on Instagram. The Ukrainian and Russian beauties often comment on each other's photos and show support for their various ventures. Yara even joked about freeing Julia from work on Brandon's parents' farm. However, their sunny friendship was clouded by an interaction on the Tell-All that aired Sunday night.

Julia and Yara have both touched on the topic of plastic surgery in the past. Julia has stated that she has absolutely no work done, including no Botox or fillers. She shared younger photos of herself and pics of her identical mother to back her claims. Meanwhile, Yara has had her appearance drastically change over the years. Though she has denied plastic surgery in the past, fans believe she has had tasteful work done. The topic of plastic surgery occurred between the two women, as well as fellow season 8 cast members Rebecca Parrott and Natalie Mordovtseva. Viewers shared a clip of the fight to the Reddit with fans understanding both Yara's pro plastic surgery and Julia's against plastic surgery viewpoints. However, the clip saw both Natalie and Rebecca seemingly siding with Yara as Julia was deemed judgmental by her friend.

First Rebecca shared her weight loss procedures, while Natalie voiced she wanted a nose job. This led to Yara finally stating she had a nose job. “If somebody don’t like something on themselves, change it,” Yara voiced. “Yes you need to love yourself the way you are. But if you can’t accept something, it’s okay to change it. We are living in 2021 and if you want to do something, do it.” Yara’s friend Julia looked concerned while Yara spoke and quickly voiced that she disagreed when she was asked about the matter. "I totally disagree about this,” she said. “I mean like if you young, why you need to change and go operation? If like you have a man and [he loves] you like this, this is perfect, you don’t need to change nothing.” Yara said that she found it perfectly acceptable to change whatever one doesn’t like about their appearance, while a frustrated Julia said, “This is crazy people.”

Yara claimed that Julia was being judgmental, though Julia emphasized that she was simply saying her own opinion. She said that people have become lazier and they should just use the gym if they want to look and feel better. However, the other three women disagreed with her. Fans chimed in that they saw both sides of the argument. "I think they are both right. 'Your opinion sounds like judgment.' is SO TRUE. But Julia is right to an extent; you can change certain aspects of yourself if you choose to. She can’t see past that to see that it won’t help everyone and their insecurities," one Reddit user wrote. "Just like what Yara & Rebecca said, if you want to change something then go for it. In my opinion it's fine as long as you don't go too far and get addicted," another user added.

Though Yara and Julia appeared at odds during the Tell-All, both women are fortunately faring better in their relationships. Yara and Jovi are proud parents to baby girl Mylah, while Julia and Brandon recently enjoyed a Miami honeymoon. Fans of the two couples fortunately are in store for more content very soon. Julia, Yara, and Natalie will all be appearing alongside their spouses on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? The show will be airing on April 25 to the delight of 90 Day Fiancé viewers. Fans will watch as the couples work to overcome their cultural differences and navigate successful marriages.
