Jovi Dufren of 90 Day Fiancé has gotten some heat in the past for how much he drinks, but Yara recently demonstrated that she has a sense of humor about his love for the sauce. When his daughter Mylah was born, many fans were skeptical that Jovi would change with fatherhood, however, Yara has clearly done a lot to help keep him in line. Her latest prank on Jovi shows just how far they’ve come from the bickering and problematic couple they used to be.
It’s no secret that Jovi likes to party, and many fans have been concerned that he might have a drinking problem. During season 8, Yara took issue with how much alcohol her fiancé consumed and the two got into several arguments about that topic. Jovi used to party hard, even in situations where he shouldn’t be, like at the season 8 Tell-All. But since Mylah’s birth, Jovi seems to have found a better balance between kicking back with a brew and being responsible.
Yara shared a video on social media of her preparing a “beer” for Jovi, though it wasn’t exactly the type he had in mind. The so-called beer was actually some sort of green juice that looked like it contained celery, pineapple, and some other vibrant veggies. “Jovi’s beer now that Mylah is born,” Yara chuckled as she prepared the drink. In a sing-song voice Yara called out, “Jovi your beer is ready,” before handing him glass and saying “bon appetite [sic].” If that’s the sort of beer Jovi has a drinking problem with now, he should be just fine.
Though Jovi’s “beer” was just a joke, it shows how much Jovi has changed since Mylah was born. Before his daughter was born, Jovi was constantly dragged by fans for getting drunk, going to strip clubs, and spending too much time with his friends. But he’s since stepped up to the plate. It looks like Jovi has found happiness in fatherhood and is settling into his new role as a dad with relative ease. Yara’s sense of humor about his drinking is notable too, because if it’s something she can joke about, it can’t be that serious of a problem.
Yara and Jovi have grown a lot since they were first introduced on 90 Day Fiancé and have now become fan favorites. Viewers have enjoyed watching the couple grow and embrace their new lives as parents, and are glad to see them doing so well. Fans love seeing Yara’s humorous side, and it’s fun to get snippets of her and Jovi’s lives when the cameras aren’t on. Maybe from now on Jovi will be swapping his beers for green juice.
