Many 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? viewers were shocked to see Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren hanging out with Charlie and Megan Potthast in New York City. After watching the finale of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, many fans identified Charlie and his wife as villains. They believed that Charlie always starts fights with Andrei Castravet. He is jealous because his dad, Chuck Potthast, is now working closely with another man. During the last family cookout, Charlie started taunting Andrei as soon as he arrived at his dad's house.
Then Charlie was the one who raised his hand first to start a physical fight with Andrei. Charlie's wife, Megan, apparently scratched Elizabeth's face and yelled at Chuck Potthast, which many 90 Day Fiancé viewers found quite unsettling. Charlie and Megan may have had reasons to act in such a manner, but they have now been labeled as "toxic," "messy" and "rude." On the other side, Yara and Jovi are considered more sensible and rational. So it is surprising for many 90 Day Fiancé fans to see these couples hanging out together.
The couples have posted a picture of them on their respective Instagram Stories to reveal that they had a double date. All four TLC stars had dinner at Nobu in New York. In the picture, they are standing and giving big smiles to the camera. Yara and Megan look great in their short dresses, and Charlie and Jovi are sporting casual wear. While replying to a fan, Charlie even said that his favorite couple on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? is Yara and Jovi. It is odd that he didn't even mention his sister and brother-in-law, who are also on the show.
The couples may have enjoyed their get-together, but it seems like many 90 Day Fiancé viewers are upset over this picture because they never imagined seeing these two couples hanging out. A fan said (via Reddit), "Well lost more respect for jovi and yara…gross." Another fan wrote, "Jovi is annoying, but he could do way better than having Charlie as a friend." Someone else chimed in (via @90dayfiancejunky), "Ahhh man! I liked Yara and Jovi. Not now that I know they hung out with those coke heads."
A few fans said that Charlie and Jovi would get along really well because they are apparently both anti-vaxxers. 90 Day Fiancé star Jovi did make some shocking anti-vax views on his Instagram page, which disturbed most of his fans. Looking at the bonding in this photo, it doesn't seem like the double-date was really a success. Yara is looking a little uncomfortable with Charlie and Megan. So it was probably a one-time thing while all of them were in New York to film the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Tell-All.
