Yara Zaya has been called out by some 90 Day Fiancé franchise fans, after the most recent 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? episode, as the wife of Jovi Dufren began planning for a future without consulting her husband. The two faced a rocky future from the start, after Ukrainian beauty Yara arrived in Jovi's beloved New Orleans, and immediately made her disgust for the city known. Yara ended up moving (to the suburbs of Louisiana) while he was away for work. Now, she is second-guessing her life in the United States. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans are surprised that Yara is considering a future that does not seem to include her husband, Jovi.

Happily Ever After season 7 has shown Yara and Jovi's marriage in a rocky place, as Jovi insulted Yara's post-baby body, and made it clear that he misses his partying days as a bachelor. Yara was overjoyed when her Green Card came in the mail, as it meant that she could travel to Prague, and finally introduce her mother to her daughter, Mylah. The child's maternal grandmother hadn't seen her for over two years. Understandably, Yara is having a difficult time dealing with the war in her home country, and immediately voiced that she felt more at home in Europe. Her mother told her that she wanted to look at apartments with her, so that Yara could consider spending several months in Prague with Mylah. Then, she'd be able to see her displaced family members and friends. Reddit user u/Midnightartist87 opened a discussion about Yara, and said that she, "makes plans like a divorced single mom with sole custody."

Many 90 Day Fiancé fans don't think there's a strong a connection between Yara and Jovi, as they aren't making decisions and choices that benefit each other as a couple. Instead, they seem to focus on their individual wants. "Don’t think they actually love each other. Never felt that from the start," top commenter u/JBalls-117 wrote on the same thread. "Exactly, she acts like she doesn’t care what he thinks, feels and wants," u/Tableclothdress wrote back. One commenter, u/Deanie1458, quoted Jovi, when he said that Mylah was the only reason they are still together. They added, "I get it she wants to be near her family all of that however I I don’t give a s*** about how you feel on either side if this is a thought it needs to be discussed with your spouse!"

While many 90 Day Fiancé fans agree that Yara did not approach the situation the correct way, some viewers can understand why Yara would want to stay in Prague. Jovi is away for weeks at a time, and Yara's desire to be near her loved ones makes sense to viewers. In viewers' opinions, however, it was her delivery in the episode that was wrong, as she considered looking at apartments before speaking to 90 Day Fiancé's Jovi. "They discussed several episodes her living back in Europe. He told her then he didn’t care since he was away for work so much. Maybe it’s because she sprang it on him," u/Susie4672 explained in the same thread. "I can see how it might be jarring for your wife to wait until you get to Prague to inform you that she's going to go look at apartments in Prague," u/highwayunicorn added.

While Yara is being called out for making a major move without informing her husband, it is clear that there are issues on both sides of the relationship. Many 90 Day Fiancé fans believe that Yara and Jovi are deeply incompatible. However, there is no easy answer for the duo, as they have a young child. Jovi has been open about his marital problems, which he says are ongoing. 90 Day Fiancé fans will have to stay tuned to see if they are able to work out their issues.
