Star of 90 Day Fiancé Nicole Nafziger is no stranger to onscreen drama. But according to her latest Instagram story, she's been doing some self-reflection - and she isn't happy with the way she's behaved in the past.
Fans were first introduced to Nafziger and her daughter May on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé, which depicted her journey to Morocco to meet her long-distance love, Azan Tefou. In Morocco, the couple clashed over cultural differences, PDA, Tefou's disapproval of Nafziger's body, and the future of their relationship. However, Tefou proposed to Nafziger at the end of her trip and she returned to Morocco with her daughter and mother in tow on subsequent seasons of 90 Day Fiancé and 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Fans questioned whether or not Tefou actually intended to marry Nafziger after he cancelled the wedding they had already planned, instead opting to invest the money Nafziger had sent him into a store that never actually existed. The pair have also dealt with infidelity; Nafziger cheated on Tefou with her friend and a recording surfaced of Tefou speaking flirtatiously to another woman.
Now, Nafziger seems to regret some of her past behavior on 90 Day Fiancé. In an Instagram story she posted on September 17, she wrote "I literally can not watch myself on past seasons. I am so cringy [sic]." Now 26, Nafziger said that she regrets how she handled things when she first appeared on the show at age 22 and told fans that she has changed: "It may have taken some time to learn and grow but I have. And I recognize my mishaps."
Nafziger has recently come under fire for leaving her daughter while she spent several months with Tefou in Morocco. Nafziger traveled overseas to visit her fiancé at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. While she was in Morocco, the country suspended international flights and Nafziger was forced to extend her stay with Azan and his family. After five months, she finally returned to the United States and was reunited with her daughter, who had been in the care of Nicole's mother Robbalee while Nicole was away.
Since returning to the United States, Nafziger has been teasing baby plans, posting a photo of her and her niece with the hashtag "#babyfever" as well as a photo of her staring lovingly at Tefou with an ultrasound superimposed on the image. However, Nafziger is also notorious for posting clickbait articles about her fellow 90 Day Fiancé stars. As of now, the future of Nafziger and Tefou's relationship is still unclear and neither party has released any information about wedding plans.
