Sometimes, it can be tough to avoid comparing one’s past romantic partners to each other, and 90 Day Fiancé star Larissa Lima has found herself doing just that on multiple occasions. Larissa and Colt Johnson’s unforgettable marriage was one of the most tumultuous the franchise has ever seen, but that wasn’t the only relationship that Larissa had on the show. She also dated Eric Nichols on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, and it became hard for her not to compare her latest boyfriend to her ex-husband Colt.
After Colt and Larissa split up, each of them moved on to new relationships on Happily Ever After? season 5. Colt dated fiery Brazilian Jess Caroline and Larissa was in a relationship with Eric. But Larissa and Eric were famously on-again-off-again and broke up and reunited during the season. After the show, the couple continued their relationship and in March, Larissa and Eric celebrated their two-year anniversary. However, despite fueling engagement rumors, Larissa has revealed she plans to move away from Colorado, and might be single again.
Even while dating Eric, Larissa couldn’t help but compare him to Colt, and on the Happily Ever After? Tell-All, she went into detail about how different the two men are. Host Shaun Robinson asked Larissa who was the better lover, and Larissa didn’t hesitate to say it was Eric. Larissa explained that Eric was more experienced in bed, which understandably made Colt upset. Colt claimed that Larissa was the one who never wanted sex, though Larissa said she was at a low point at that time, dealing with depression and anxiety and on medication that lowered her sex drive to “zero.”
However, despite naming Eric as her favorite lover out of the two men on the Tell-All, her comments on an episode of Happily Ever After? told a different story. In the first episode of season 5, Larissa revealed to some friends that she broke up with Eric. She explained that with Eric there was no sex, and the couple felt more like friends, but added, “Colt always want to make sex.” She also said that while Colt would compliment her on her appearance, Eric rarely did. “I miss that Colt found me attractive to some degree,” Larissa admitted to her friends.
Though the 90 Day Fiancé star’s comments on the show made it seem like Larissa and Eric are a bad match, she was singing a different tune on the Tell-All. After Larissa gave Eric another chance, perhaps the couple turned up the dial on their sexual chemistry, so that when Larissa compared the two again, Eric came out ahead. It’s not the healthiest practice to compare your relationships, but Larissa just can’t seem to help herself.
