Amidst their recent set of allegations and controversies, Deavan Clegg and Jihoon Lee returned to the second half of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. But while watching the first episode, TLC fans noticed that Deavan and Jihoon were conspicuously missing from the series. Was it because there’s nothing much left to show from the 90 Day Fiancé couple’s life which is already out in the open on social media? Or are Deavan and Jihoon’s scenes being cut by TLC on purpose after them being uninvited from the Tell-All?

Deavan, 23, a single mom and model from Utah met Korean man Jihoon, 29, on an international dating app. And soon enough, on Jihoon’s first-ever night in America, became pregnant with their baby Taeyang. Jihoon not being present for the child’s birth proved to be the first red flag in Deavan’s relationship, and later, it was his alleged past involving stolen phones that ticked her off. The 90 Day Fiancé star had hopes of settling down in South Korea whichalso shattered due to Jihoon’s financial irresponsibility. As things looked like they were getting better, Jihoon and Deavan separated, and news of TLC flying her down to America became known. The decision had been taken after Deavan's claims that Jihoon had apparently abused her daughter Drascilla to “discipline her” which continues to shock 90 Day Fiancé fans. Meanwhile, Jihoon has been accusing his ex of keeping Taeyang away from him, as he flaunts a new revenge makeover. Deavan is also open about dating Korean-American accountant Topher Park, which again, is a major spoiler for those who are following her and Jihoon’s romance on the reality show. With viewers already knowing the outcome of Deavan and Jihoon’s relationship, does it make sense for the network to still focus on their story?

If one has watched the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way super tease, it does. This preview for the new second half of the show had Deavan accusing Jihoon of cheating on her which gives a completely new angle to their disastrous drama. But still, the first episode did miss out on showing Deavan and Jihoon, one of the most popular couples of season 2. Their relationship seems to have gone haywire somewhere at the start of this year, while the earlier episodes showed events filmed a year ago. What exactly transpired between this 90 Day Fiancé duo, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic situation in South Korea, could form the core of their current storyline. The preview for the next episode teased fans with Deavan and Jihoon discussing a Korean wedding ceremony, and her adding, “Me and Jihoon officially got married on paper, but I still want to have this big wedding.” According to @fraudedkatrina, this wedding occurred in October 2019, which is still months before the couple’s supposed separation. This too, indicates that 90 Day Fiancé fans will have to wait longer for the recent events between Deavan and Jihoon to unfold.

Deavan Jihoon Drascilla Taeyang 90 Day Fiancé

Since news of TLC asking the couple to stay away from the Tell-All episode was reported, the network has not given any statement from their end. As per Deavan, she’s currently seeking legal help in the matter, and with her ongoing divorce, it’s unlikely that the network will even participate in addressing the issue. A story had also suggested that Deavan’s apparent “difficult” behavior had frustrated the show's producers to add Drascilla’s running scene to the episode. This also has made certain fans believe that one might see lesser and lesser of Deavan-Jihoon on the future episodes until they get completely weaned off by Tell-All time.

As this has been one of the more complicated timelines in the history of 90 Day Fiancé, fans will undoubtedly have a lot of unanswered questions. Still, given the number of twists involved, they’ll just have to keep following their favorite stars on-screen and simultaneously rely on social media to uncover the truth.
