While Jovi and Yara Zaya have become fan favorites, Jovi's mother has too. The Louisiana mom has proven to be a supportive mother-in-law. She always has Jovi’s wife’s back. Gwen is also appreciated for calling Jovi out on his bad behavior, rather than enabling it. Now, fans consider her one of the best mothers in the franchise.
The 90 Day Fiancé franchise is known for showcasing many problematic in-laws. Brandon Gibbs’ parents became early season 8 villains for the way they treated his partner, Julia Trubkina. Gwen originally drew the ire of fans for insulting Ukrainian women to Yara, by falsely believing that all Ukrainian women want to come to the United States. However, she quickly redeemed herself by supporting Yara when Jovi behaved badly. Gwen also showed that she is a standout mother-in-law by willingly handing Jovi over to his new wife. This is unusual in a franchise that sees mothers trying to cling to their sons at the expense of their relationships.
The New Orleans mother became a grandmother when Jovi and Yara’s daughter Mylah was born. Mylah is now 7 months old. One other interesting fact about Gwen is that she actually has another son. Jovi has a younger brother named Mason. The Louisiana mother appears to be close to her family and happy with her life in New Orleans. She is married to Monty Eymard. According to her Instagram account, Gwen has been enjoying her life since appearing on the show. The mother loves hanging out with her family.
