Tim Malcolm and Veronica Rodriguez from 90 Day Fiancé were together for about a decade before they decided to part ways, and become the best friends that fans love to see on 90 Day: The Single Life. Gringo Guns owner Tim first met Veronica at a Charlotte bar when he was 28, and she was 23 years old. Veronica hails from Miami, and moved to North Carolina with her ex-husband, whom she’d married after she became pregnant. However, Veronica’s first husband cheated on her, and after she ended the relationship, she found Tim.
Back then, Tim had just come out of a 10-year relationship. 90 Day Fiancé star Veronica decided to meet the most attractive man at the bar, and French-kissed him. While Tim wasn’t really her type, Veronica did kiss him, and slipped her number into his back pocket. Seemingly, there were no words exchanged between them when this happened. In fact, Veronica remarked that the extent of the conversation was, “Hi, how are you doing?” Tim couldn't believe that Veronica was interested, because he thought that his friend, who was there with him, was much more attractive. Still, Tim called Veronica the next day, and that’s how they started dating. Almost effortlessly, he fell into place in Veronica’s life, and became a dad to her daughter, Chloe, who was then just 18 months old.

Tim had thanked them for supporting him and Veronica on his 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3 journey. He confessed that, “doing a few episodes” with his ex was fun. However, Tim really wanted to show people that having a healthy relationship with an ex can happen, “if both people can be mature and move forward instead of backwards.” In the photo, Tim stood next to Veronica, wearing a white suit with a metallic gray shirt. He held a drink in his hand. Veronica looked much younger in the photo, in her lace dress, and smiled shyly. As per 90 Day Fiancé star Tim, the photo was taken seven or eight years ago, in 2020, at Veronica’s high school reunion in Miami.

In June 2020, Tim reminisced about the day when Veronica had taken him to meet her grandmother, nine years ago. He wrote that the photo was taken in South Beach, Miami. Later that evening, he went to have dinner with Veronica’s grandparents. Tim said that Veronica’s folks were always very kind to, “the crazy Gringo” that their granddaughter chose to get engaged to. Tim had asked for prayers for Veronica’s grandmother, who was very ill at the time. Followers sent prayers to Veronica’s granny in the comments. However, at the same time, there were fans who couldn’t resist telling Tim and Veronica, “you two belong together. Best friends are your soulmates.”

Fans loved Veronica’s look in the recent 90 Day: The Single Life season 3 Tell-All. They thought that she styled her outfit well, and Veronica wore a textured green cut-out dress with clear heels. Her hair was long and flowing, and she'd put on fuchsia lipstick. Veronica later revealed that it was the same dress she was wearing in a 2014 romantic couple’s photo shoot with Tim. The picture posted on Tim’s Instagram feed in July 2020 inspired him to remark in the caption, “We were engaged , full of life and happy..... and now as friends even happier.” His followers thought that Tim looked “cute” in his black vest and spiky hair. However, all eyes were on 90 Day Fiancé celeb Veronica, who looked ethereal while he held her lovingly in the pic.
