Popular 90 Day Fiancé duo Tim Malcolm and Veronica Rodriguez had an interesting relationship timeline before they became TLC stars. They have a fifteen-year history behind them, and Tim and Veronica remain very close. They're redefining friendship goals as the most beloved Pillow Talk couple. First introduced on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4 with Jeniffer Tarazona, Tim broke up with the Colombian model and now has a new girlfriend, Linda Ramirez.

The 90 Day Fiancé cast member Tim’s partner-in-crime Veronica has been dating her businessman boyfriend Grant Glaser since 2019. Tim and Jeniffer’s 90 Day Fiancé storyline was all about his proximity to Veronica. In fact, his ex Veronica from 90DF had also given Tim her old engagement ring so he could propose to Jeniffer in Colombia.

After Tim and Jeniffer split, fans wondered if he'd get back together with Veronica. However, the pair remain BFFs. They are popular in the franchise even though they aren’t technically a 90 Day Fiancé couple. Amidst Tim and Veronica returning to 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Pillow Talk, and Jeniffer supposedly dating Darcey Silva’s ex Jesse Meester, here’s a look at their lives before they made reality TV history.

How Tim & Veronica Met For The First Time

When Tim and Veronica first met at a bar, he was 28 and she was 23. As per Gringo Guns owner Tim, this was “crazy” since he doesn’t drink. 90DF's Tim had gone out with his friends and Veronica was out with her girlfriends. She remembers telling her female gang that she was going to find “the most attractive man” in the bar, walk up to him, and kiss him. During an episode of 90 Day Bares All, Tim joked that this was a lie since his friend was “way hotter” than him.

He wasn’t my type though, he was short,” explained Veronica, although TLC celeb Tim insisted his friend always got the most attention as he looked like an Abercrombie & Fitch model. “So, when she tried to talk to me I was like, what – there’s something wrong here,” recalled Tim from 90DF, who swore no conversation with Veronica took place. She said, “Hi, how are you doing?” before French-kissing him. Germophobe Tim was just getting out of a 10-year relationship and this was his second night out as a single man. Veronica slipped her phone number in his back pocket at closing time. The next day, Tim called Veronica up and their romance began.

Tim & Veronica’s Previous Relationships

When Tim and Veronica started dating, her daughter from a previous relationship Chloe Sanchez was just a year and a half old. Tim stepped in as a father figure to Chloe and helped raise her for a little under a decade. In 2020, 90DF's Chloe celebrated her First Communion and her 14th birthday. In an Instagram post, Tim Malcolm wrote that his “little baby girl” isn’t a baby anymore and that he’s a proud papa of the “young woman.” Meanwhile, it was revealed that Tim also has a son from his first long-term relationship.

Tim had helped raise his previous ex-girlfriend’s son for 10 years and had decided to legally adopt him. However, he also broke up with the woman during this adoption process.  The son kept Tim’s last name, “Malcolm.” In July 2020, SoapDirt posted a photo of Tim’s son in a military uniform, after he’d recently graduated from U.S. Navy basic training.

Tim & Veronica’s Nasty Breakup Before Jeniffer

While Tim and Veronica have a close 90DF friendship that often leads to raised eyebrows, Tim had once explained how they became ex-lovers following the “longest breakup.” Tim and Veronica had dated for nine years before they got engaged. However, the Pillow Talk stars also called off their engagement within just seven months. According to Tim, their “breakup was a long time coming.” Due to them raising Chloe together and sharing a house, cars, and furniture, Tim and Veronica went back and forth over their decision several times. They even tried to get back together for months.

Things officially ended between the couple on New Year’s Eve of 2016, notes SoapDirt, as they had a “beautiful moment” when Veronica asked Tim to dance to a “heartbreaking song.” Four years later, Tim was dating Jennifer and starring in 90 Day Fiancé. Their timeline is fascinating, isn't it?
