Former 90 Day Fiancé star Varya Malina deleted her Instagram profile following Geoffrey Paschel being found guilty of aggravated kidnapping, domestic violence and interference with an emergency call. Varya starred on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days with Geoffrey from Knoxville, Tennessee, after having met each other on an international dating website. The romance soon took a love triangle angle when Geoffrey moved on with another woman, Mary Wallace. The couple fought some more and managed to get engaged. But Geoffrey’s criminal past kept him and Varya from coming on the Tell-All to confirm if they’re still together.
Geoffrey was booked into jail on Thursday, October 7, and is facing eight to 30 years in prison on the felony aggravated kidnapping conviction. The charges all stem from a domestic dispute incident Geoffrey had with his then-fiancée, Kristen Wilson, on June 9, 2019. The 90 Day Fiancé cast member will remain in jail until his sentencing on December 3. Geoffrey was seen taking the stand to testify in his own defense and argued that Kristen gave herself the injuries in question. When Geoffrey was handcuffed, fans watching the trial on Court TV also happened to notice Mary in the courtroom background.
Meanwhile, Varya, who is currently in America, was nowhere to be seen. As it turns out, Varya deactivated or perhaps deleted her verified Instagram page @varya.malina following Geoffrey’s criminal trial. “Sorry, this page isn't available” is the message that shows up when one tries to access the link to the radio personality's account. For the last few months, Varya has been living in Pensacola, Florida. She got her driver's license recently, and a post from August saw her calling America "home,” fueling rumors of Varya getting a Green Card. However, this wasn’t confirmed by Geoffrey’s on-screen fiancée, and fans are still confused about how she’s staying in the United States.
A Reddit user noticed that Varya deleted her Instagram. One fan noted that when they checked, Varya’s page was still active and her followers were visible; however, she wiped the posts off her feed. Within a short while, Varya’s page was completely gone. The comments mentioned that since Geoffrey’s verdict came out, several fans may have rushed to Varya’s DMs to hound her with questions about him since they noticed she defended him in the past. It appears that Varya has deleted her TikTok profile as well.
In July this year, photographic proof suggesting that Varya and Geoffrey were still together surfaced on the Internet. The 90 Day Fiancé stars were spotted together at the Southern Tequila and Taco Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee. Geoffrey and Varya also looked close in multiple photos, hinting at a possible reconciliation. Around the same time, a TLC viewer claimed that their mom had allegedly seen Varya and Geoffrey at the DMV in Florida and was suspicious about them being married. It was deduced that Geoffrey and Varya could have been hiding their relationship status to avoid backlash from the 90 Day Fiancé community, which is perhaps why she may have also wiped her Instagram clean.
