90 Day Fiancé star Usman Umar confesses why he likes older women like Lisa Hamme and Kim Menzies. 34-year-old Usman was an up-and-coming singer in Nigeria when he featured opposite Lisa in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4. Their controversial relationship fell apart before the Tell-All. While Lisa was reportedly fired for using the n-word, Usman moved on with a new American woman. Just like Lisa, Kim is a 50-year-old mom of one and Usman’s ticket to a green card if they ever get married.
However, Usman seems to be taking things slow with Kim, who’s been acting desperate on the show by giving him expensive toys and angling for private time. While Usman now calls himself the “King of Africa,” he has serious plans of having concerts all over the world and becoming “a bigger celebrity in the States” like Michael Jackson or Jay-Z. It seems that Usman has a special connection with the USA since his girlfriend before Kim was a woman called Zara who was also from the States. Usman still has feelings for Zara and wrote a song about her. However, compared to Kim and Lisa, Zara was closer to Usman’s age.
While it may seem that Usman only dates older women, he claims that’s not the case. Recently, Usman did an extensive AMA session with his Instagram followers. One of the questions was, “U only like older women? Or is it just for show?” Usman told his followers that he does like younger women because they're closer in age to him. However, Usman noted, “if you are young and your character is not good I will choose older with good character..."
According to Usman, “Peace and Happiness" are more important than age in a relationship. Someone else wanted to know, “why just American women.” Usman told them, “I actually don’t know why.” However, when asked if he is planning a move to the U.S., Usman claimed he doesn’t know what the future holds for him but will "definitely visit America." The “Fire” crooner is keeping his relationship status close to the vest but did add that he's a fan of Kim’s “beautiful heart and good character.”
It was earlier revealed by Usman on 90 Day Fiancé that his ex Zara left him because she didn’t appreciate the attention he gets from female fans. It was something that Lisa, too, wasn’t okay with before and after she married Usman. However, Kim being a fan herself changes things since she has openly expressed that she doesn’t care about Usman having multiple wives. However, marriage is a long way ahead for Kim, who’s not even getting a label from Usman before her Tanzania trip ends. However, it's possible that if Kim stops acting pushy with Usman, the couple might end up together, finally bringing Usman to the United States.
