It’s been over a year since 90 Day Fiancé season 8 premiered, and fans are eagerly awaiting news about season 9, including the cast, premiere date, and storylines. The 2020 edition of 90 Day Fiancé introduced fans to couples, including Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren, and Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs. It also marked the comeback of familiar faces, Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi.

While Natalie Mordovsteva looks for a new husband on 90 Day: The Single Life, Tarik Myers and Hazel Cagalitan are on the verge of breaking up or have already split. Stephanie Davison and Ryan Carr and Andrew Kenton and Amira Lollysa called it quits long ago. However, fans are keeping their fingers crossed when it comes to season 9. They want a new lineup, fresh drama, and more happy (or devastating) endings.

The popular reality TV show, which first aired in 2014, follows real-life couples dealing with the K-1 visa process. The premise is simple, with an American citizen bringing a foreign partner over to the U.S. so that they can get married within the given 90 days. While the clock keeps ticking, the couples have to overcome a host of challenges, such as adapting to new cultures, in-laws, languages, hidden intentions, cold feet, and unfamiliar places. The show soon created a universe of its own, with several spin-offs, including the ongoing 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, which is expected to have its finale sometime in March or April.

New Franchise Content Should Launch In April

If 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 has a total of 16 episodes, including a Tell-All (as it did on season 4), the next franchise installment, which may be 90 Day Fiancé season 9, will air sometime in April. While the exact date of the premiere remains undisclosed, one can expect it to replace B90 on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET. As of now, 90 Day Fiancé episodes can be streamed on Discovery+ the same day they premiere on TLC. However, Discovery+ subscribers do get to watch them a few hours early, so the pattern may remain unchanged for 90 Day Fiancé season 9.

Will Ariela & Biniyam Be Back?

One couple that fans are sure they’ll see on 90 Day Fiancé season 9 is Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre. During their 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Tell-All, Ariela confirmed that Biniyam was in America on his K-1 visa. Recently, photos of Biniyam at what looks like his wedding ceremony with Ariela, in a Central New Jersey synagogue, were posted by Ari’s siblings. Cameras were seen around Biniyam, which seemed to confirm that they were filming for TLC. In all likelihood, Ariela and Biniyam will show up on the original 90 Day Fiancé. Along with them, another couple that will probably be cast is Ellie Rose and Victor McLean, who were also together in America during the Tell-All taping.

What About Tim Clarkson & Melyza Zeta?

Tim Clarkson and Melyza Zeta announced that they were engaged in March of this year, and after that, the Colombian beauty moved to Texas with her husband-to-be. Fans suspected that Tim and Melyza would feature on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? but that might not be the case. It's possible that they might be on the season 9 roster instead. Akinyi Obala from Kenya, who appeared on Before the 90 Days with Benjamin Taylor, got married in April of this year, in Arizona. This makes them good candidates for a new season as well.

Fans also suspect that the couples from 90 Day Fiancé Love in Paradise: The Caribbean, Aryanna and Sherlon, Amber and Daniel, Steven and Martine, and Key and Mark, could become a part of 90 Day Fiancé season 9. Moreover, any couples that get engaged on the ongoing 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days will most likely make a comeback via the season. This may include Memphis and Hamza, Mike and Ximena, or even Usman "Sojaboy" Umar and Kim Menzies aka Lisa 2.0. It won’t be long until TLC drops a surprise trailer for their original show, so fans may not have to wait for long to uncover the mystery.
