90 Day Fiancé star Mike Youngquist’s mother Trish is being called a “monster” for taking Natalie Mordovtseva to the butcher shop on Happily Ever After season 6. While TLC fans have had a hard time liking Natalie right from season 7, Trish insulting her has made some viewers rethink their views. It was revealed by Natalie that it was Trish who made momma’s boy Mike dump her and cancel the wedding. And if Trish’s character suddenly taking a Debbie Johnson-like turn wasn’t enough, 90 Day Fiancé fans saw her wanting to feed Natalie snakes and later take the vegetarian turkey shopping for Thanksgiving.
The usually somber Mike calling Trish “mommy” on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? creeped fans out, as Natalie cringed upon seeing the hundreds of piggy banks in the Oklahoma home. Seven months into their wedding, 90 Day Fiancé's Mike and Natalie did seem to be getting by just fine, until it was November and time for his and Trish’s birthday and Thanksgiving. While Natalie did get called out for being unreasonable about refusing to make golubtsi for Trish, it also stemmed from the fact that she was upset to stay with Trish, who’d made her already toxic relationship a bigger mess. To make matters worse, Trish also insulted Natalie’s dreams of becoming an actress and insisted she become an interpreter instead.
But the nail in the coffin for fans to suddenly sympathize with 90 Day Fiancé star Natalie seems to have been the scene in episode six with Trish driving to the butcher’s shop knowing full well that Natalie only eats veggies and fish. Despite Natalie trying her best, the 90 Day Fiancé mom took her rudeness a step further with the turkey shopping and showed Natalie the choicest cuts of beef, chicken and alligator. Kyiv resident Natalie spoke of the “bloody meat” making her sick after being a vegetarian for eight years from a “Christian Orthodox cleansing where you're very strict with your diet.” The 90 Day Fiancé star confessed that she became a “better version” of herself, and found Trish’s behavior disrespectful and walked out of the store when Mike feigned ignorance. A Reddit fan agreed with Natalie and wrote, “Treesh is a goddamn monster.”
The 90 Day Fiancé viewer quoted Trish asking, “Did she just throw a tizzy fit and leave over being in a butcher shop?” and wrote how Natalie left politely because she is a vegetarian and was “perfectly within her rights to wait in the car or outside.” The fan mentioned how 90 Day Fiancé's Natalie also had a long day after the “gruesome twosome [threw] firewood at her face!” The OP noted that Trish and Mike are awful to Natalie “when they are together,” and accepted that while Natalie “has her problems” she’s trying her best to be polite. 90 Day Fiancé fans in the comments section agreed that the “smell of a butcher shop” would be repulsive for a vegetarian, and Mike not having Natalie’s back is “disgusting.”
Fans also feel that the way Trish is treading on Natalie depends on what her son Mike has been telling her on the phone during his 2.5-hour long rides to work. He’s repeatedly shown dismissing Natalie’s feelings on 90 Day Fiancé, and by siding up with Trish, he’s ended up being even more mean. The build-up on Happily Ever After season 6, however, is certainly being done for the separation of 90 Day Fiancé's Mike and Natalie that may have a larger part for Trish to play in.
