By the end of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, viewers hated Tom Brooks almost as much as his ex-girlfriend Darcey Silva did. Now, they’re worried Tom is angling for a spot on another franchise show. Though Tom said he never wanted to be on the show, his social media behavior since then has been raising eyebrows. It looks like he’s craving the influencer lifestyle and is eager to continue appearing on the franchise.

On Before the 90 Days, Tom and Darcey’s relationship lasted two seasons before it imploded in spectacular fashion. The couple broke up after a disastrous lunch where, among other things, Tom passive-aggressively accused Darcey of gaining weight. Though he made a few more attempts to reach out to her, Tom and Darcey were done. Since then, Tom has cranked his Instagram up to 11 trying to cultivate a particular image of himself as a sophisticated English gentleman. He’s now appearing on the most recent season of 90 Day Diaries with his latest girlfriend and Darcey lookalike, Mariah.

But even though Tom has been proudly showing off Mariah, many fans think he wants a bigger part in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise and is hoping to be cast on 90 Day: The Single Life. Fans on Reddit pointed to his social media makeover to appear more influencer-esque, including his 78-pound weight loss, his Instagram account gone private, and how hard he’s leaning into the franchise. Tom has even included the franchise on his LinkedIn account and seems like he’s looking for more fame.

Lordt protect us from Tom on Single Life,” one fan prayed, and another joked, “Stop trying to make fetch happen Tom, it's not going to happen!” However, just because Tom craves fame doesn’t mean he’s looking for a spot on The Single Life. Other fans pointed out that Tom is still dating Mariah and seems to be happy with her. Plus, he has already secured a spot for himself on 90 Day Diaries, so it’s not like he’s disappeared from the franchise, as much as some fans might wish he had.

Though the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star probably isn’t looking to be on The Single Life, it doesn’t mean he’s not aiming for an influencer lifestyle. Tom has demonstrated that he likes to appear a certain way to his followers, even if that might not fully be the truth. But that’s a turn-off for many fans who simply see Tom as fake. If he doesn’t change, viewers are going to keep wishing for him to exit the franchise.
