At the moment, many fans believe 90 Day Fiancé star Larissa Dos Santos Lima might get back together with her ex-boyfriend, Eric Nichols.
Viewers originally fell in love with Larissa when she appeared on the sixth season of 90 Day Fiancé. At the time, she left her two children, Arry and Luana, in Brazil to start a new life with Colt Johnson in the United States of America. Unfortunately, Larissa didn’t get the fairytale ending she wanted with Colt. Shortly after Larissa and Colt got divorced, she began dating Eric Nichols.
June 2018
Colt and Larissa got married in June 2018, as shown on season six of 90 Day Fiancé. The couple had tons of issues in their relationship that basically started on the first day Larissa moved to Las Vegas to live with Colt and his mother, Debbie. However, they tied the knot anyway.
January 2019
Larissa was arrested for domestic battery following an alleged fight between her and Colt. Days after the incident, Colt filed for divorce from Larissa after being married for roughly seven months. It wasn't the first incidence of domestic violence in their relationship, but it was apparently the last straw for Colt.
March 2019
Larissa met Eric on Tinder and they started dating. They celebrated Larissa’s divorce together at a Las Vegas strip club while simultaneously going public with their relationship. “I like that he’s the complete opposite of ‘Coltee.’ He’s independent. He takes care of himself. He’s not a mama’s boy,” Lima told E! News at the time.
Around the same time, Larissa began changing her appearance through many plastic surgery procedures. Even though her story on 90 Day Fiancé suggested Eric paid for much of her cosmetic work, Larissa made it clear she paid for all of the surgeries, not Eric.
April 2019
Colt finalized his divorce from Larissa. He said they didn’t keep in touch after the end of their relationship Shortly after the divorce, a judge ordered Larissa to complete 48 hours of community service and pay a $345 fine after settling the domestic violence charge.
September 2019
On Instagram, Larissa confirmed she broke up with Eric. In her lengthy “Break up Note," she stated she and Eric “decided to break up and go our separate ways” after an eight-month long relationship. “There is no hard feelings or [regrets], but I need to look in my own soul and focus on being the best Larissa I can be,” Lima added. Many were shocked by their breakup, considering Larissa said she wanted a “traditional American wedding” and children with Eric. Reportedly, Eric found out about the break up on social media, just like everyone else.
The reality star also commented on her past with Colt. “I try to heal one painful breakup by jumping in relationship with Erickee but I know now I need to work on me and focus on my healing of my scars. Not sure what will come of the future but I am excited for it.”
According to Us Weekly, Larissa filed a police report against Nichols for harassment on September 18. Allegedly, Larissa received taunting text messages and calls after her split from Eric. “Larissa doesn’t want to speak about it anymore because she wants Eric to go away and doesn’t want to give him the fame he’s thirsty for,” an insider said. “Eric gave out her number to other women and they were calling and texting and harassing nonstop, so she changed her number last week.”
On the other hand, Eric denied the claims made against him. “I’m not surprised my ex made up something to file a police report against me to get my attention,” Eric stated. “I went on about my own business leaving town, then received texts from her about a bunch of nonsense that is an essay long.”
December 2019
Eric and Larissa considered getting back together. “The decision for both Eric and I to get back together was not decided in one dinner together,” Larissa said, explaining their nine-week break to In Touch Weekly. “We talked about how we disappointed each other and we forgave. That was the first step. The second step was admitting to one another that we still cared. The third step was discussing what we wanted to do this time around and to not repeat past mistakes.” Larissa added that many couples are on and off: “For everyone, there is a unique love story.”
March 2020
The reunited couple went public with their relationship in March 2020. “Biggie love announcement: We’re happy and [that’s] what matters,” Larissa wrote on Instagram. Their reunion was also depicted on season five of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, where they seemed to work through most of the big issues in their relationship. They ended the season happily together and even announced a move to Colorado for a welcome change of scenery from their home in Las Vegas.
November 2020
“I’m no longer in a relationship,” Larissa wrote on Instagram. “We decided to follow separate paths for now. We are different people who have grown apart seeking development and happiness.”
Eric also confirmed the split on social media. “We’ve come to a verdict,” he wrote, with a song playing in the background that said, “Can we still be friends?”
“Single N red-e 2 mingle,” Eric captioned an Instagram selfie following their split. Larissa also commented on the breakup, “I’m done with men and men trying to exploit me.”
December 2020
Larissa put up an ominous post about the 2020 year and her feelings about it. One section of the post referred to Eric and how “he was the best caregiver ever.” Fans believe Larissa misses her ex. Given that they’ve been on-again and off-again before, there’s a good chance Larissa could get back together with Eric in the future. Only time will tell what the future holds for his couple.
