It’s a question that’s been asked about 90 Day Fiancé since time immortal – is the show scripted or fake? The answer to it might vary depending upon which scorned ex-cast member one asks, but a recent scene from 90 Day Fiancé’s season 8 has raided many eyebrows. With Natalie Mordovtseva finally getting her K-1 visa and arriving in America to her alien-loving fiancé Mike Youngquist, fans expected nothing but more ring-flinging drama. But amidst complaints of her feeling cold and eating carrots in a corner, Natalie may have revealed that 90 Day Fiancé is er, “fake.” Here’s what eagle-eyed fans have found which proves TLC may be frauding its fans after all.

The latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé saw Mike taking Natalie on a drive around town when the roads of Sequim, Washington, didn’t look as scary as the ones in horror movies to her. Mike wished to indulge in a bit of rainbow trout fishing but as expected, a major fight did happen by the end of it all. The “small city” with no action failed to impress Ukrainian Natalie who wanted to see some “beautiful nature” instead. Hardworking Mike didn’t make Natalie a priority to visit a waterfall which made her flash her signature pout and storm out of the car and walk off quietly, arms folded in anger. As 90 Day Fiancé’s Mike asked, “What’s wrong?” Natalie claimed she needed “time for herself” and in the confessional revealed that her fiancé didn’t “understand” what she was going through.

But the entire scene that revolved around Natalie again repeating that she was cold, ended with her saying, “I don’t feel like it’s going to be fine.” Which it wasn’t, as 90 Day Fiancé fans found an editing mistake in the scene which definitely wasn’t fine. As seen in this screenshot shared by @90dayrando, when Natalie gets out of Mike’s truck, she’s wearing mid-calf boots, but as she comes to a halt a little ahead, the boots have been replaced with what appear to be ankle length UGGs instead. A lot of 90 Day Fiancé fans did notice this sudden wardrobe change of Natalie’s as the comments on the post read, “Even the boots want to get away from her,” and “Lol or she can change shoes in the blink of an eye.”

However, that’s not all. Some observant 90 Day Fiancé viewers caught another editing mistake in the same Mike and Natalie scene where his truck’s side mirror is apparently destroyed when the couple leaves for the town visit. But fans claim to have spotted a completely new or fixed side-mirror when Mike and Natalie exit the truck after parking it. As explained on this Reddit thread, it could have been a case of the 90 Day Fiancé production team spending “so long shooting the storyline that after several takes, the first pair of boots got uncomfortable.” The TLC viewer guesses that Natalie could have then asked for a wardrobe change. But, then again, no one has an explanation for Mike’s magical mirror.

Another Instagram fan, however, was reminded of another 90 Day Fiancé star Darcey Silva who always carries a pair of cute shoes and comfortable ones in the car. Still, like a TLC viewer suggests, “the editors need to be more careful when modifying what really happened.” If fans do end up catching bloopers like these in more scenes, they might not have to search for “Is 90 Day Fiancé fake?” in the future anymore.
