90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3 introduced Tim Malcolm with Jeniffer Tarazona, but it was his relationship with ex Veronica Rodriguez that got attention. Having dated for almost 10 years, Tim was close to Veronica and her daughter, who he considered his own. While Tim and Jeniffer may have broken up, Tim and Veronica are still favorites on 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk. The bond between the TLC twosome keeps the rumor mill running, with fans constantly asking questions about Veronica’s ethnicity, career, and so on. Here’s everything to know about Tim Malcolm’s ex and best-friend, Veronica.

Tim’s love triangle with Jeniffer and Veronica was 90 Day Fiancé at its uncomfortable best. Colombian model Jeniffer felt threatened by Veronica’s looming presence in Tim’s life, and she remained the center of most of the couple’s fights on the reality show. Veronica, however, stayed by Tim’s side and even helped him propose to Jeniffer with her own ring! Jeniffer’s dream of getting a visa, however, didn’t turn into reality when Tim spent the money on expensive equipment for his business instead. She left her American fiancé, but Tim became a regular on the TLC franchise due to his popularity. Many 90 Day Fiancé viewers thought Veronica was controlling and taking advantage of the El Gringo owner during his relationship with Jeniffer. However, watching the exes together on Pillow Talk changed a lot of opinions. Tim and Veronica became fan favorites, and many wondered if they’d be getting back together. However, he later claimed Veronica was now more of a “sister.” Regardless, there’s nothing like a good backstory when 90 Day Fiancé stars are involved, and Veronica’s sure is an interesting one.

Tim met Veronica about a decade ago she was a mother to toddler Chloe. He and Veronica have raised Chloe, who’s now 13, together since then. Three years after meeting, the 90 Day Fiancé celebs were engaged, but Tim confirmed they “never actually tied the knot.” The couple started having some undisclosed problems which caused them to eventually split. Tim and Veronica still co-parent Chloe, and he considers them his family. In July, Veronica posted a “Happy Birthday America” message on Instagram, where she revealed she’s a first-generation American. Both of the 90 Day Fiancé star’s parents were born in Cuba, and her grandparents came to the USA seeking “freedom and equality." Tim too, who remains close to Veronica’s relatives, shared an Instagram tribute to her grandmother, Aya, who passed away in Miami. “She and her husband fled Cuba during the Batista regime…searching for a free country,” Tim shared. Veronica’s grandmother was a lawyer in her country, but worked as a Spanish teacher in Miami. Veronica’s grandfather worked at the boat docks and later started his own building company. Aya, a “devout Methodist,” raised Veronica and her siblings and was also very fond of Tim.

Tim Malcolm Veronica Rodriquez: TLC: 90 Day Fiancé

Due to her culturally rich background, Veronica is fluent in Spanish and English and also French. The 90 Day Fiancé celeb attended the University of Rochester for an associate of arts degree and Florida International University for her BBA degree in international business. Veronica’s LinkedIn states she’s been working in different managerial positions and was also the owner at “Malcolm Firearms” an FFL licensed dealer. Since then, Veronica has worked as an analyst and relationship manager at Delhaize America and AXA US. She's recently been promoted to lead sourcing relationship manager at Equitable. Her job involves negotiating and enforcing contracts, which explains why Veronica was so taken aback when 90 Day Fiancé fans accused her of taking money from Tim.

Veronica is currently in a relationship with a man named Grant Glaser, who made an appearance on her Instagram in a New Year's picture with Chloe. Grant has been employed at AXA US as an advisory product/relationship manager since March 2018, which could hint at how he met his 90 Day Fiancé love. However, Tim is a regular feature on Veronica’s Instagram, as the exes-turned-besties continue to entertain everyone with their chemistry and unique bond on Pillow Talk. Hopefully, Veronica will make 90 Day Fiancé fans who first hated her change their opinion with more episodes in the future.
