Tim Clarkson who is a self-proclaimed country boy finally was introduced to fans on last night’s episode. He is planning on making the move to Medellin, Columbia to be with his girlfriend, Melyza Zeta. The two met while Melyza was working as a nanny and kept their relationship going after she moved across the country to the east coast and then back to her native country.
During Monday’s all-new episode of the hit spin-off, Tim made a stunning confession to the cameras. He only had a week left until his big move but was worried that his past mistake of cheating would affect his relationship. The Texas resident revealed the truth behind his plan to relocate instead of having Melyza come to America. The Columbian had told her boyfriend that she had lost trust in him and did not want to leave her family for him.
According to Tim, the long-distance relationship hit a snag last year when he felt extremely lonely. The TLC personality ultimately made the decision to cheat with his co-worker. The 34-year-old confessed that the relationship started off as a fling, but the casual conversation led to a "full-on, intimate sexual encounter." Before leaving for his trip, Tim met up with his close friends who had choice words for the adulterer. They were all taken aback by the TLC star’s admission. Tim made it clear to his friends and the cameras that the 29-year-old had her doubts about their relationship and would need time to be able to trust him once more. Tim feels he must prove his commitment to her because Melyza is worth it.
While Tim became emotional during his confession, fans found it hard to connect with him. The newest star seemed a bit goofy and many have reservations if the relationship will even work out.
