Another episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way released, and we finally got to know the story of the couple, Tim Clarkson and Melyza Zeta. While narrating his life story, the 34-year-old disclosed that he has a criminal history (just like a few other 90 Day Fiancé cast members) and faced jail time.

Tim and his 29-year-old girlfriend first met in a bar, and the duo hit it off instantly. The Colombian beauty was working as an au pair in the states when she fell for Tim’s goofy personality. While Tim is living in Iowa, Melyza got another job offer from Boston, and she moved there. Then, there were reports that he did something terrible during that time, which broke Melyza’s trust in him. That is why she’s not ready to come to America and move in with him. Instead, Tim is leaving his life behind in Texas and relocating to Medellín, Colombia, to make amends. In the recent episode, the Texas native confessed that he cheated on Melyza because he couldn’t take the long-distance anymore. He said, “Last year the distance between me and Melyza at that time was very difficult. I felt lonely, and the girl I ultimately cheated with was a coworker. It got to a point where we did have a full-out intimate sexual encounter.”

Well, that’s not the only thing he disclosed on national TV. He also said that he has been arrested for breaking and entering vehicles at the age of 24. As a result, he spent 28 days in jail and got three years of probation. In Touch reports that he was first arrested for a DUI (driving under the influence) in January 2015. An officer observed that he was driving with an expired registration, so he stopped him for a routine traffic stop. The officer noticed that the reality star had “bloodshot watery eyes and a strong odor of ingested alcohol.”

Eventually, the PBT (preliminary breath test) was carried out, which revealed that he had a BAC (blood alcohol concentration) more than .08, which is a significant sign of impairment. Therefore, he was taken into custody and then released after a few hours of detainment. At his arraignment, he initially pleaded not guilty. However, in April, he pleaded guilty in exchange for a fine and a Drunk Driving School certificate program at Kirkwood Community College.

According to Tim, he got on the wrong path after completing his high school, but then he took admission in University and tried to turn his life around.  Well, it looks like Geoffrey from 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days is not the only one with a criminal record. Unlike Tim, he never pleaded guilty for the domestic abuse charges against him.
