Tiffany Franco and Ronald Smith had a rocky relationship on 90 Day Fiancé. TLC viewers have seen them fight on the series, but their arguments have escalated off-camera. It seems as though Tiffany and Ronald never agree on anything, and it's time to look at how their feud started.

Tiffany and Ronald first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1. The international couple met while Tiffany was on a trip to South Africa with a friend. The two fell in love and maintained a long-distance relationship after Tiffany went back to Maryland. When Tiffany visited Ronald in South Africa six months later, he proposed. They got married in October 2018 and Tiffany moved back to the U.S. shortly after due to her pregnancy. She gave birth to the couple's daughter Carley on July 3, 2019. Ronald watched his daughter's birth through video chat. He also serves as a stepdad to Tiffany's son Daniel from a previous relationship, and they are very close.

The reality stars returned to television on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6. Tiffany and Ronald's marriage was going downhill. On the show, Tiffany consulted with a divorce lawyer because she wasn't sure if she wanted to stay with Ronald. The mom of two built a new independent life for herself in Maryland. Tiffany was growing her career as a makeup artist and had enough money to move into a new apartment. Being married to Ronald while living in a separate country was difficult for her, and it put a strain on the couple's relationship.

Tiffany and Ronald had heated discussions both virtually and in-person on Happily Ever After? These conversations sometimes occurred when 10-year-old Daniel was around. Tiffany forgave her estranged husband for lying about his criminal record and gambling addiction. However, she still expected Ronald to grow up and learn from his mistakes. Ronald was constantly acting lazy and didn't have a stable job to support his family. When Tiffany asked him to send money for diapers and clothing for Carley, he promised to do it and never followed through. Ronald even tried to manipulate Daniel into moving back to South Africa, but Tiffany wasn't having it. Ronald was accepted for a CR-1 spousal visa interview to reunite with his family in the U.S. Tiffany hoped that having Ronald in the same country would solve their problems, but he purposely acted disinterested during the interview so he could be denied a visa and stay in his own country.

Since Happily Ever After? finished airing, Tiffany is back in the U.S. with Daniel and Carley. Tiffany and Ronald officially broke up in August, and Ronald filed for divorce. Ronald has moved on with a new girlfriend named Lauren Fraser. Tiffany warned her about how shady her ex-husband is, which didn't sit well with Ronald. "She doesn’t tell you guys how she’s keeping the kids from me. She doesn’t tell you guys how she wants money from me. She doesn’t tell you guys that she is bothering my family for money," Ronald told US Weekly. He was concerned about the fans siding with Tiffany, so he wanted to set the record straight.

Ronald and Tiffany are better off staying apart. It won't be easy for the 90 Day Fiancé stars to co-parent Daniel and Carley from two different countries, but young kids shouldn't see their parents argue all the time. Here's to hoping that Tiffany and Ronald's feud will subside and they can happily move on with their lives.
