Tiffany Franco Smith and Ronald Smith appear headed toward divorce after hinting at their split on both 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? and social media and viewers have plenty to say about the crumbling marriage. The couple released cryptic messages this week after American Tiffany has been discussing her plans to divorce her South African partner on the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show. With the end of the couple’s marriage close to confirmed, fans were quick to assign blame and discuss which partner was more at fault for their doomed nuptials.

The international couple faced issues from the start, as Ronald’s gambling addiction and criminal past has taken a toll on the family. Despite warning signs, Tiffany chose to move with her son Daniel to South Africa for several months which resulted in her pregnancy with baby Carley. The mother declared South Africa unsafe and returned to the US with her kids while Ronald began his seemingly unsuccessful visa application process. Tiffany has since expressed frustration to the cameras over Ronald’s utter lack of financial contribution which has caused her desire to remain married to him to significantly diminish. Unfortunately, Daniel has been caught in the crossfires of his parents’ apparent split.

Instagram fan account @90dayfiancenow shared a photo of the couple with the caption, “It’s OVER,” after the couple released cryptic social media statements. Tiffany wrote, “Feel like I can breathe again. No more pretending,” while Ronald hinted at being emotionally abused. Commenters had a lot to say about the apparent split, as many blamed both halves of the couple and felt bad for Daniel and Carley. While some viewers feel Tiffany is too good for Ronald, others voice that the mother knew what she was getting into and was irresponsible to have Daniel call Ronald “dad” if she didn’t want to make things work. On the other hand, many fans are frustrated by Ronald choosing to spend money on his motorcycle rather than buy a plane ticket to visit his family. Overall, most viewers felt bad for Daniel after Ronald tried to convince the young boy to join him in South Africa. You can view the post below:

"It was over before it even began," one top comment reads. "Don't want to sound mean, but shes to good for him," another commenter weighed in. Some commenters thought Tiffany wanted to save Ronald. "She wanted to rescue him but some people are too far gone ... I liked them tho. My heart is broken for the kids especially Daniel," another fan wrote. However, others thought Tiffany was not blameless in the situation. "Her own fault for going with a guy who’s recovering and forcing her child to call him dad," a viewer shared. "I feel for the kids whose parents put themselves first and confuse them by calling a strange man "Dad" for a few months. Then they move onto their next 'Love' and the cycle restarts," another commenter wrote.

Though Tiffany has been the most vocal cast member to discuss her crumbling marriage, she is far from the only Happily Ever After star to be heading toward divorce. In fact, most of the current couples are dealing with relationship drama. Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina are locked in an explosive argument after Julia’s jealousy flared up. Meanwhile, viewers have been waiting for Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva to announce their split after seasons of the static drama. However, Tiffany and Ronald appear to be the first couple to be officially separating on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6.
