There are many couples that viewers despise on this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, but fans are growing especially irritated by Tiffany Franco Smith and Ronald Smith. This season, Tiffany became an unlikely new franchise villain as her relationship with Ronald imploded and her two children were thrust into the middle of their impending breakup. There are several reasons why fans are more tired of Tiffany and Ronald than they are of the other stars, and many want them ejected from the franchise.
Ronald and Tiffany have had their ups and downs in their relationship, but as of Happily Ever After? season 6, their marriage is at a breaking point. Tiffany was supposed to take her kids to South Africa to visit Ronald but cancelled the tickets because she felt he should be more financially responsible and foot the bill. Ronald’s visa application was accepted on the show; however, Tiffany and Ronald’s social media activity suggests divorce. Still, on the show, Tiffany has patched things up with Ronald and the whole family is headed to South Africa for a visit.
The couple seems to go back and forth, and fans are sick of watching them. Reddit users called Tiffany and Ronald “hard to watch” and have been highly critical of the couple—Tiffany in particular. “Idk what it is, but she bothers me. Maybe it’s her bad life choices or winey[sic] attitude but please get her off my screen,” a fan said about Tiffany. Many added that they wouldn’t have as hard of a time with Tiffany and Ronald if their children weren’t being manipulated as a nasty side effect of their toxic relationship.
Surprisingly, many fans were even more critical of Tiffany and Ronald that they have been towards other couples from the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, including Libby and Andrei. One fan summed it up, saying “Family Libby is fun to hate watch...There's nothing amusing or fun about Tiffany's story.” Fans don’t love Libby and her family, but their storyline strikes them as less sad. However, not all viewers are so critical of Tiffany, and some are willing to give her a pass because “I think she's young, naive about much and has made some questionable choices but who doesn't in their 20's?”
There’s no denying that Tiffany chose poorly with Ronald, but 90 Day Fiancé fans are tired of being along for the ride. While there are many franchise couples that fans love to hate, Tiffany and Ronald are wearing on them as a couple whose relationship is toxic past the point of entertainment. If Tiffany and Ronald are no longer enjoyable for viewers to watch, then they don’t see why the couple should be included in the franchise. If Tiffany and Ronald’s relationship really is over, maybe it means they won’t be on viewers’ screens anymore.
