90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? may have taken a week off, but the criticism for Tiffany Franco Smith and her husband Ronald Smith continues to pour in. The American and South Africa couple have seen their international relationship continue to go downhill since they first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. However, viewers are skeptical of the differences the couple shows on social media, during personal interviewers, and when they are together on TLC.

Tiffany started the season of Happily Ever After with secret talk of leaving her husband. Rumors of a divorce were supported by both halves of the couple releasing cryptic Instagram statements over the past few weeks that have hinted at a split. However, the couple is currently shown trying to make things work on TLC. Though the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show took a week off, last week’s episode saw Tiffany and the kids trying to navigate home life with Ronald in South Africa. Many viewers have doubted that Tiffany is serious about divorcing her husband, which has led to accusations of the couple faking their drama for viewer attention.

One viewer took to Reddit to call out the couple. The user reposted Ronald's recent Instagram photo that read "no words" with the caption, "Shoulders & The Addict broke up again! #notsurprisedtho." Many viewers agreed that the relationship drama was unsurprising and that it appeared to be fake. "It's a continuation. First break-up was January, 2020, but neither of them have any income other than '90-Days,' so, consider this one temporary as well," one top comment reads. Commenters expressed that Ronald's post read as extremely dramatic behavior that was more expected from a teenager than a grown adult and father. Others were tired of Tiffany and Ronald's dramatic relationship drama. "Somebody give their relationship a plastic bag to play with already," one snarky commenter wrote.

Viewers speculated that Tiffany's franchise villain mother had revealed her daughter faked her marriage woes for attention. "Supposedly her mom said they fake the online drama. Who knows tho," one commenter shared. Many viewers were skeptical of the couple's drama. "Is this for the third time since their season started airing? Funny how it's radio silence when they're not on TV--- which also happens to be the time when they're being filmed--- but the second they think people have started talking less about them they acting out this way. Their whole relationship and livelihood is based on the approval and support of their fans," one frustrated fan wrote. Others believed that their relationship really was over. "She's been trying to break up with him since they got together," another viewer observed.

As Happily Ever After continues to air, Tiffany is seeing herself become a franchise villain. Viewers have compared Tiffany to Deavan Clegg, her former The Other Way co-star. Both women had children with foreign men that they barely knew and blame their husbands for all of their problems. Viewers think Tiffany needs to grow up and make a decision about her marriage so that children Carley and Daniel can have stable childhoods. Fans feel it is unfair to call Ronald the father of Daniel if Tiffany is planning on leaving her husband. Young Daniel has quickly become a 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fan-favorite as viewers turn on Tiffany and Ronald.
