Tiffany Franco from 90 Day Fiancé looks different now, as she lost 80 pounds after bariatric surgery, and this SPOILER post reveals information about her fresh new image and life. The 30-year-old Tiffany got married to South African man Ronald Smith on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1. Ronald proposed to Tiffany when she met him in his home country during a trip. Tiffany had forgiven Ronald for his gambling addiction and criminal past, but after they married and welcomed a baby, Ronald failed to take responsibility. The couple had a number of splits, and eventually got back together. However, in 90 Day: The Single Life season 3, Tiffany wants to move on from Ronald, and claims that they are separated for good. The TLC spin-off also shows a new version of Tiffany, following her weight loss surgery in June 2021. Fans last saw Tiffany on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6’s Tell-All, where she was at her heaviest, weighing almost 300 pounds. She announced her plans to get a gastric sleeve surgery, like co-star Angela Deem, who has lost more than 100 pounds after a successful operation. Over the past year, Tiffany stayed away from any 90 Day Fiancé spin-off, but she kept giving regular weight loss updates to her Instagram fans. In July of this year, Tiffany announced that she was 80 pounds down, and 18 pounds away from her goal weight. Tiffany’s weight loss goal is 190 pounds. She used to wear a bigger size (XXL), and now wears "medium" clothes.
How Tiffany’s Weight Loss Affected Her & Ronald On 90 Day Fiancé
Throughout 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 6, Tiffany tried to keep her marriage with Ronald together. Despite feeling like he wasn’t financially responsible, Tiffany went to South Africa with the two kids, but Ronald didn't treat her right there, even refusing to change his daughter’s diapers. Meanwhile, Ronald kept claiming that 90DF star Tiffany didn’t file the paperwork for him to come to America, as she didn’t want him there. He accused Tiffany of cheating on him with a cameraman during the Tell-All. Immediately after his accusations, she revealed her weight loss surgery plans, which, as expected, Ronald wasn't in favor of.
Deciding to get surgery done was a long process for Tiffany, but in the end, she knew that it was the right one. On the other hand, Ronald wanted Tiffany to “put in the work” to lose weight, which would make her appreciate the results a lot more. In the months that followed, Tiffany kept losing pounds, and Ronald even got himself a new girlfriend, Lauren Fraser. However, Tiffany’s revenge body photos may have eventually made him break up with the woman. In January of this year, Tiffany confirmed that she and Ronald had reconciled, In July, she posted a now-deleted (and rather intimate) video, that showed them in bed on Instagram.
Ronald shared a picture of him and Tiffany kissing during the same month. In 90 Day: The Single Life, Tiffany admits that she’s having a hard time moving on from Ronald. It looks like her date with an old flame called Fabian also doesn’t end well, after he asks her to go to his room with him. Tiffany and Ronald are most likely back together now, and the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff was filmed during their brief split in 2021, or early 2022. While Tiffany and Ronald’s relationship continues to be complicated, at least her weight loss journey is a clear success, and she seems proud of her results.
