Several throwback photos of 90 Day Fiancé cast members as young teenagers have been posted online, in which these known faces look drastically different. With the trends of heavy filters and botched fillers ongoing on Instagram, many of 90 Day Fiancé stars are caught in the act of Photoshop or plastic surgery. Then there are the ones such as Angela Deem, Larissa Lima, or Yara Zaya, who are open about having had face- and body-altering makeovers. Recently, stars including Jovi Dufren, Annie Swan, Anny Francisco, and Syngin Colchester showed they lived pretty ordinary lives without any editing.
Whenever a new cast member is introduced on 90 Day Fiancé, TLC fans always want to know everything about them, including what they looked like before their brush with reality TV. Some like Yara Zaya do their best to keep their history at bay. But some 90 Day Fiancé fans are expert sleuths and hunt down photos of their favorite stars from their younger days, or before plastic surgery.
Some 90 Day Fiancé stars have been transparent about their beginnings and even awkward teenage phases. Amongst them is David Toborowsky’s Thai wife and fan-favorite Annie Suwan, who recently shared a photo of herself from when she was 13 or 14, posing awkwardly for the camera in her village. The Pillow Talk star’s sweet photo seems to have started a trend, as many others such as Anny, Syngin, and Jovi also joined in. Jovi’s TBT photo was posted by everyone’s favorite 90 Day Fiancé mom, Gwen Eymard. It is her “old favorite” from a camping trip.
“Jovi resembles Jimmy Neutron,” fans joked about the picture with Jovi and a baby deer by his side. "We all look nice ... I was 99 pounds,” wrote Anny on a repost by 90 Day Fiancé fan page 90dayfiancénow, before the soon-to-be mother shared her own picture from when she was 18 years old on her Instagram stories. Tania Maduro’s South African partner Syngin wrote, “#TBT to the days before American food, marriage, and that covid weight."
Fan-favorite Syngin, who’s based out of Connecticut, shared his Cape Town memory and also revealed that he’s now picked up over 20 pounds of “dad bod” and laughed because he still loves himself the same. “Because in that there is true happiness,” confessed the 90 Day Fiancé star. TLC viewers did agree that Annie, Anny, and Syngin looked as great as they do now.
