Many 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way fans are rooting for Ariela Danielle and Biniyam Shibre. The compatible couple is expecting a baby soon. But life wasn't always this perfect for Ariela. Recently, she answered burning questions about the cuts noticed by fans on her arm.

Many viewers noticed scars on Ariela's arm while she was attending a birthing class in her home country. Those scars sparked conversations on social media and discussion forums. Some concerned fans asked her on IG where the cuts came from and if they were self-inflicted. Some also speculated whether the scars had something to do with her love life with her boyfriend.

Well, the reality star recently took to her Instagram story and revealed she had a troubled past. Ariela said she was struggling with mental health during her adolescence. She wrote, "It has come to my attention that people are interested to know about the scars on my arms. I want to say that yes they are self-inflicted." While she didn't reveal much information about her reason for the cuts, she said she had a "tumultuous adolescence." She explained, "I started questioning the world and my life from a young age. I could not find peace with myself nor the world I was living in. And this was my answer at the time." She also said that she will make a complete video on her struggles with mental health and how she overcame them. Check out her recent IG post below:

The reality star also stated she's "not ashamed" of her troubled past. She confirmed that she has moved on from those sad events. As an expecting mother, the TLC star made a brave choice by relocating to her partner's country, Ethiopia. She wants to deliver her baby in a foreign country because she wants to be with her boyfriend. Her mother is constantly by her daughter's side, making sure she is comfortable in the new environment.

Earlier, Ariela had a panic attack and anxiety upon reaching Ethiopia and seeing Biniyam's changed appearance. Perhaps that's why her mother, Janice, decided to accompany her pregnant daughter to the new country. She is making sure Ariela stays well, and her boyfriend takes care of her in the best possible way. The trio went to an Ethiopian hospital, which was the deciding factor for Ariela's stay in the country. Fortunately, the hospital had all the required equipment, and most of all, the neonatal intensive care unit. It seems Ariela's decision to stay with Biniyam may be the right one after all.
