Viewers may know the young cast member from the show's latest season, where she appeared alongside ex-weightlifter Patrick Mendes. The couple first met in Brazil when the 31-year-old American used a dating app to find someone who could teach him Portuguese. Eventually, he met Thaís, and the two began dating. 90 Day Fiancé season 9 shows the couple's story as they try to build a strong relationship and get married. However, fans are not so thrilled with their love story and have already labeled Thaís as a gold digger.
Thaís has done a lot of damage to her character by showing ungrateful behavior. She has previously complained about Patrick's brother and called him "crazy." In one of the episodes of 90 Day Fiancé season 9, the Brazilian native ended up criticizing Patrick's expensive house by calling it "small." Once, she also pushed her fiancé to reveal his finances, which led to a small fight. Fans find Patrick an extremely respectful, loyal, and sweet person. Hence, they do not like how Thaís sometimes behaves ungratefully toward him for no good reason.
Despite the drama, some reports suggest the couple is still together. However, Thaís isn't dropping any more hints about their marriage. Instead, she's having fun interacting with her fans. During her recent Q&A session, she answered a fan who asked her if she knew how to do popular Brazilian samba dancing. Thaís responded to the question by sharing an old picture of herself and wrote, "I was the 'muse of the carnival of montes carlos' in 2016, I danced for 25 thousand people." In the photo, the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 star looked extremely young and wore a cute dancing outfit. She must have been 20 years old at the time of her contest.
Besides telling a sweet story about her past, Thaís also talked about her health regimen. When a 90 Day Fiancé fan complimented her lean figure and asked, "How to not gain weight?" Thaís replied, "I gained weight, yes eating hamburger here." She shared a cute photo with the reply, where she is wearing a white outfit that shows her curvaceous body. When someone else asked Thaís how to lose 40 pounds, she responded, "I would say a good diet with training."
While many 90 Day Fiancé viewers do not like Thaís on the show, it seems she has a joyful persona in real life. She answered all her fans with a happy attitude and revealed she had made a "big decision" about her relationship. Fans are excited to see what happens on Sunday and can't wait to find out if Thaís is in the United States or Brazil. However, an Instagram post shows that she met her fellow co-star Miona Bell and her beau Jibri Bell for a celebration in June 2022. Hence, it could mean that Thaís is in America with her 90 Day Fiancé co-star Patrick.
