A lot of talk has been going around about the feud between 90 Day Fiancé’s brothers, Tarik Myers and Dean Hashim. The Virginia Beach men first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days season three, where Dean repeatedly humiliated Hazel Cagalitan in the Philippines. But the friction between Dean and Tarik really saw its peak on Pillow Talk, due to their unexpected exit. With Dean possibly showing up on season eight of 90 Day Fiancé soon, here’s everything to know about the fan-favorite.

TLC viewers first met Dean on 90 Day Fiancé when he didn’t exactly mince his words while warning Tarik about meeting Hazel. “A con artist is a con artist,” Dean told his older brother. The 90 Day Fiancé rapper confessed that other than his little daughter, Dean was the “closest person” to him, having been “tight” since they were kids. However, Dean and Tarik do not share the same set of parents. They have different mothers, which is why they didn’t grow up in the same household. Tarik expected nothing but “loud and brutal honesty” from Dean, who expressed his reservations even to Hazel’s face while calling her a “mail-order chick.” The 90 Day Fiancé loudmouth followed Tarik to Quezon City, where he questioned an awkward Hazel about her ex and claimed that since she didn’t have custody of her son, “It said a lot about her character.” Similarly, Dean further insulted Hazel when he asked her if she’d be “woman enough” for his brother in the bedroom during their trip out of town. While Dean maintained Tarik was living “in a dream world,” his brother declared that bringing him to the Philippines was “the worst decision.” However, the tables turned dramatically after Dean himself found a girl from the country using the same dating app as Tarik!

The popular 90 Day Fiancé brothers Dean and Tarik were a riot for fans to watch on Pillow Talk because of their unmissable commentary. But a shocking spat in 2019 made them fall apart. While TLC fans wondered if they were booted over Dean reportedly making homophobic and transphobic comments towards co-star Tim Malcolm, Tarik revealed his brother tried to get him fired. “There’s bad blood from him to me,” revealed 90 Day Fiancé’s Tarik, and alluded that Dean was a “backstabber.” Meanwhile, Dean still showed his disapproval of Hazel by being the one who revealed she was bisexual, while also confessing that Tarik “likes to have multiple women, sexually, at once,” as per InTouch.

Earlier this year, Dean made an appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: Self Quarantined, where fans finally saw his own Filipina girlfriend, Rigin Bado. Rigin spoke about being in touch with many other American men, but it was Dean’s “signature funny style” that won her over. After months of talking, he met her in the Philippines. Dean had since been staying in the country with Rigin, and they’re also expecting a baby together after moving into a new six-bedroom home, according to SoapDirt. The 90 Day Fiancé celeb apparently also has a daughter from a previous relationship.

When it comes to working apart from 90 Day Fiancé, Dean does stand-up comedy and is also a military man, as reported by another SoapDirt article. Tarik’s brother is a member of the Marine Corps and has been known to travel back and forth from the US to the Philippines to fulfill his service obligations. He also currently appears to be living off the pension he gets as a disabled veteran, and StarsOffline estimates 90 Day Fiancé’s Dean’s net worth to be around $600,000.

As teased during the new 90 Day Fiancé season eight teaser, Dean could be coming back to create a ruckus between Tarik and Hazel’s already complicated relationship. But if that doesn’t happen, a showdown between Dean and Tarik will surely take place on some future installment of the series.
